I really enjoyed the stay this time with the exception of the elevators. There are three elevators but two of them were out of order for the entire three days of my stay. On the last day, all three elevators were out of order. I had to walk up to 4th floor which is not a big deal, but some people had to carry their luggage up and down the stairs which was dangerous.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful! The reception staff are very friendly and had our room check in accelerated. The breakfast staff keep everything there running smoothly even with large morning crowds. Unfortunately for the staff one morning all three elevators stopped working. They posted people on each floor and carried luggage up and down for both arriving and departing guests. The elevators were fixed by the afternoon, but one quit the following day. I really hope they can get them fixed long term because it doesn't just impact guests. Employees shouldn't have to transport luggage for guests, and cleaning staff shouldn't have to take stairs in order to ensure rooms are clean.

The hotel was clean enough and close to many attractions. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The main benefit of the breakfast was the long hours that it opened for (6-11AM). The only issue was the consistent damp, almost moody smell in the room.

Quiet location with terrific breakfast buffet

I only stayed at the Hampton inn Waterloo one night but I enjoyed my stay and would come back. My room was on the 8th floor on the rear of the hotel and it was extremely quiet. Hotel is very near Waterloo train station, the Thames, and it's about a 25-minute walk to Trafalgar square and the national gallery.

Hotel very nice, good inclusive breakfast. Good size bedroom & bathroom with excellent shower! Whilst initially the area didn’t seem too good, it turned out to be fine. Lots of takeaways nearby, a Tesco and an excellent pub The Duke of Sussex doing food. Would definitely use again.

We were checked in by Chris who was very welcoming and saw him throughout our stay. He was kind enough to help with trains on check out and even gave us a bottle of water each. The lifts were not working properly. Breakfast was delicious and our room was clean and the bathroom was lovely.
