Tiny, Dirty, and Uncomfortable My stay at the Hilton London Kensington was a complete disappointment. The room was incredibly cramped, barely big enough to open my suitcase. The furniture was old and worn, with a large, stained patch on a chair that I didn't even want to sit on. The room itself was not clean, and I left feeling like I hadn't had a proper night's rest. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff were all excellent and professional. The food in restaurant was very good as well. The breakfast buffet was excellent, so many options to choose from and everything is quality. The bed was very comfortable in a spacious room. Westfield shopping centre is 10 minute walk away which is just past the Shepherds Bush tube station. We really enjoyed our long weekend and will definitely be going back.

Ummmm beds what

The hotel itself was super clean and the staff incredibly inviting. Finishes in the bedroom were dire .. it could have been a lovely room but we were left snagging clothing on upholstery that had seen better days and our twin room beds for undesirable .. beds are super high off the ground and on wheels so brace yourself for impact should you be as clumsy as myself. Mattress was a little hard and after the mattress test winded myself a little .. but my heart went out to those in the room below us because damn those beds made some noise and given that we were woken many times either but the creaking of us turning or because we needed to find comfort in the beds .. I mean otherwise it's a prime location and the staff were on the ball.

Booked as part of a friend's 50th birthday celebrations. Location is very convenient for Westfield white city or the itv/bbc studios nearby. There was a conversation about decorating the room with some balloons etc for my friend. This was also printed in the leaflet the hotel emailed to me, a few days before we checked in. However when arriving at the hotel, they said this had not been done and they did not have any decorations. Do not offer things, if they cannot be provided as it just gives false information and hope. The following day, we discovered there was no shower gel in the bathroom and nobody at guest service or housekeeping answered the calls we made. Finally got through to the front desk and they said it would be sent up straight away. An hour later, it still had not arrived. Surely from a brand like Hilton, you cannot be faulted for at least expecting toiletries?! I will end on a high, the buffet breakfast was great! Good selection and food was all warm or cool where appropriate. I would stay again in the hope any errors on this stay would not be repeated. Poor reply from the hotel though.

For the brand name and the location this hotel was more like a motel than 3/4 star hotel . No proper ventilation , light fixtures were broken , wall paper peeling and no restocking of bathroom amenities. Carpet was even dirty and stained and bleached in spots .
