Very old and outdated room. Hardly 2 stars hotel. My request to change the room to another clean room was denied unless I pay extra. The only good thing about the hotel is the location, in which multiple hotels are available with lower price and better service.

Nice, clean hotel. The beds are very comfortable. It’s a couple minutes walk to the tube which made it very easy to get to all the different areas of London we wanted to explore. Beautiful area near St. Mary’s Hospital only a couple minutes walk away to pubs, bakery, and restaurants.We stayed here twice on our trip and would return. Great hotel. They were very accommodating when our airline cancelled our scheduled trip home, very helpful!

We checked in around 7:00 pm, not terribly late. We were told the only room left fitting our King Bed Standard reservation was a first floor room #123. Anything else was a $100+ up-charge. I wish I could post pictures here. The room had a view of the garbage dumpsters and walls about 10’ from the window. Nothing else could be seen. The room had no closet. Well, that’s not exactly true. The closet had 18” of vertical space from the pole to the bottom. There was a box built around an HVAC (I assume) duct that took up the “closet.” It was actually comical. The distance from the end of the bed to the wall was too narrow to allow a piece of rolling luggage (carry-on size no less) to roll through. The hallway leading to the room narrowed down to half width for the final six feet before leading to the room door. This was because a linen depository chute was there. Thus the entrance to the room was via a 2’ wide hallway with a specially sized small room door. So this was our standard King Room. It was terrible. I went back to the front desk with pictures that I told them I was going to post. They moved us upstairs to a normal room on the 10th floor. So much for no other rooms available. I am a Hilton Honors member and have used the brand often. I’ll think twice in the future.

Great views, bad sounds

Hotel was amazing. Absolutely great cleanliness and view from the window. We couldn’t stop looking outside one evening together. Only negative was the walls are rather thin, so we got to hear others REALLY ENJOYING their stay. I would say a few times. Doors were slamming rather hard in the middle of the night. Slamming harder than our neighbors’. Elevators need to be looked at due to doors randomly opening on different floors. With that being said, would stay here again.
