When I checked into the hotel and paid with my credit card. On the hand held transaction machine it showed my card was approved. The receptionist told me it didnt go through. I explained what it said on the device. They had me run my card again and I had the same message of it being approved. I showed them and they told me it never did and asked me to swipe a third time and i declined. They refused to give me any print out of the failed transactions and the manage Nikita then told me she wouldn't check me in. I then called my credit card and was told they charged me 4 times. I was told to calm down by the receptionist twice and i felt was uncalled for as anybody going through this would be upset. No sorrys or valid explanations were given. The staff poorly explained things and just said they were working in it with IT. I paid an extra $30 for early check in to only spend that time on the phone with my credit card company and trying to get an explanation from the manager Nikita. If this didnt happen, our stay would have been more enjoyable.

Whilst the price and the location were were brilliant, there was a lot of Vagrants or Homeless people in the vacinity and even in the entrance, this was very off putting

Shelter is located right next door and they were outside smoking all the time. On one night I counted 10 police officers including swat next door at the shelter. Not at all a safe area

Terrible stay!!

Upon arrival at our room we instantly smelt smoke in the room once inside we found burn marks on the carpet like a cigarette had been dropped in multiple spots. We complained and were moved to a different room down the hall and only realized in the morning that room had NO towels. At 230 am we were awaken to the fire alarm and when we called the lobby they told us smoke on the 6th floor and we needed to come to the lobby. This hotel obviously struggles with the non smoking policy. Also it seems to be located in a very scetchy area. Will NEVER stay here again.

I didn’t like that it was hard for me to get much sleep because of the noisy occupants that we could hear throughout the night, in the hallways on the floor that we were on. I also didnt like that i found use tissue paper under the covers in a bed that was supposed to be freshly made. Also as i was loooking for my hair cover ( which had drop down on the side of the bed) I saw 3 empty milk containers under the bed which indicated that the carpet may not have been vacuum. I must mention that the cost of the room was quite high but the reason I chose that hotel was because ir was close to an office where my friend had an early appointment the next day. However i must mention that the front desk staff was quite accomodating and professional on my entrance and departure. I was also disappointed that for the price i paid through Expedia, the hotel was misrepresented.

The room and service overall was average. It was the homeless peipke around the hotelbthatbwas disturbing. Checking in at night alone, with loitering homeless people just hangingbaround smoking, eating on the stairs was disturbing. I did not feel safe. Also therebwas major construction and this should have been mentioned in the add and a discount given. Out of town guests arent aware.also i did not know parking was extra.
