Great location, nice restaurant, pleasant amenities downstairs, very welcoming staff, clean rooms/hotel. Our room was a bit small and had little daylight, but we stayed for 24 hours and it didn't matter. Overall, perfect for a short stay.

Beautiful hotel. Staff couldnt of been any better, nothing was a trouble for them. We were travelling for my husbands cancer treatment and our booking wasnt on their system. The manager came out and sorted the problem as quickly as possible and also gave us an upgrade. 5* from us

Great place to stay
My stay was absolutely great. I confess that I was not sure what to expect. I wasn't sure if the Holmes hotel would be incredibly touristy and kind of kitschy. But I took the risk and I'm so glad that I did. It is an elegant lovely hotel with lots of great spaces to sit and take in a bit of the atmosphere. But most importantly, the staff was just incredibly nice and welcoming. Iolanda at the front desk was a very gracious host as I checked in. I appreciated that after a long flight. The bar area outside of the formal dining area was a great place to sit and have a drink and some appetizers in the evening. The food was delicious- especially the pea soup. I actually recommended your hotel to several of my British friends who have out-of-town guests from time to time. And I also mentioned to them nice meeting spaces you have downstairs since I wandered down there as well. And the gym was really fun. Love the old-fashioned but modern equipment.
