The receptionist was welcoming and kind, the room was great! The shower is the most powerful shower I have ever used in a hotel. There were plenty of towels not just the typical 2 that other hotels give. They were also big enough especially if your a little on the chunkier side like me haha… it was clean, not many marks on walls etc. everything was provided, plenty of tea coffee biscuits and soap etc, even a shower cap was provided :) The only slight downside was the bed was a bit hard for my liking but that is personal preference and it was quite noisy with the road outside so bring some earplugs. However, in the hotel there was no noise at night from people etc. I would definitely stay again.
Room was compact but had everything needed and some extra touches. Was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Arrived at check in to the room not being ready and made to wait in an empty seating area with no one serving any drinks. All rubbish bags on the floors once we could go to the room. Tiny room with hardly any room to move around. Advertised pictures are deceiving, awful bed, worst sleep ever. Checked out first thing to get out of there.
Stayed here for just one evening for a concert and would highly recommend. Easy to access the central line and orhee tubes into london from ealing broadway and west acton which are only a 10 minute walk. Very friendly staff and a very well kept and clean hotel and room. Would highly recommend
Great hotel. Just around corner from North Ealing tube. Day parking is cheap here. Ealing centre is a short walk. Hotel itself is great value and comfortable
Disappointing stay in what could be a pleasant hotel. The pictures on-line of the restaurant/dining area looked delightful. However, AFTER booking a non-refundable 4-night stay, learned in an email from hotel that the restaurant was closed and no breakfast was available Secondly, the bed springs creaked horribly on one-side of our bed (room 201). Haven’t encountered that problem in a long time! Also, there is no lift so you need to carry your luggage, potentially up 2 flights. Would have been nice if desk clerk had offered to help us 80 year olds! All of this was a marked contrast to the wonderful guest house where we stayed earlier in our trip.
decor in rooms is lovely , reception area is lovely, tv worked well in room but can only access certain apps on tv from the button on the back , kettle did not work in room
In a months travel I can count on one hand the times I’ve had a comfy bed. This is one! Shower was amazing. AC says is goes to 18 but it was always warm in the room. There’s a tube stop close by but due to strikes it wasn’t running but you can walk to the Elizabeth line in 15 minutes. Parking only has 4 spots, but you can park around the corner on the street. One side is permit only at 10am, other side is paid after 8am. Staff was super nice. Lobby had fresh lilies that smelled amazing. They is no restaurant/ bar. It’s permanently closed.
Hotel 55 was better than imagined, it was spotless, the staff were lovely upon arrival, the only downside for me was the 4 parking spaces but there is parking located round the corner of the property so the issue was easily solved. The train station round the corner was perfect to get into central London which is where the parking was so everything we needed ie shops, parking, transportation where all within a few minute walk definitely would stay again just hopefully the bar will be open the next time.
Our first stay at hotel 55, the staff were so lovely and helpful (thank you to Monike when we arrived for making my daughter feel special on her birthday trip). Accommodation was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and the room had everything we needed. All staff friendly and helpful from start to finish. A great stay, thanks so much Hotel 55!
