The hotel and room was good except we took our cockapoo and had a dog friendly room. We were on the ground floor and the window was by the smoking shelter so he had to close it due to the smell. During the night the room got so hot and the air conditioning unit was broken. Our dog was really restless as he was so hot. the remote control said the room was 28 degrees. At 2am we took him outside to cool down and the night manger offered us a fan for the room. that made a big difference. We all had a really bad nights sleep though

Hotel Du Vin Cannizzaro Housr
We’ve walked many times in the grounds at Cannizzaro House & eaten in the Orangery, so it was really nice to stay here for 2 nights. It met all our expectations, except the breakfast. Considering the quality of the hotel & the food for dinner and room service, the breakfast was a let down. However, the rest of our stay was fabulous - we upgraded from a classic room to a Deluxe. The room was large, spacious & nicely furnished. We had a lovely view out to the from over the ground and over to Wimbledon Common. The bed was extremely cosy & comfortable, the bathroom had a large deep bathtub with nice shower over. It’s so rare to get a nice bathtub in hotels nowadays, so it was a pleasant surprise. We had dinner the first night, was excellent and room service the second night. All in all, a great stay & would definitely stay here again if we needed, 5*

I definitely miss the lavazza /nespresso coffee machines in every rooms that disappeared since Covid in this hotel for some type of rooms…..I have stayed here for years and I love my first coffee of the morning and the coffee alternative they offer now is really chintzy, subpar and tasteless. For me it is disappointing.
