Manager came out of his cave to give me a load of rubbish about the law and why I was unable to check my guests in. Unfortunately he was talking total trash, he knew this was true but he didn't want me to check in my guests.
I made the booking, paid for the booking and knew everything associated with the booking. I wasn't even asked to show proof of booking, or payment! Instead I was spoken to as if I was a common criminal someone trying to score myself a free night in a hotel - I'm sorry but I wear clean clothes and speak properly, I'm not some scab who just rolled in off the street and I was not happy with this inclination.
Message for Big Man Mr Manager: "Next time mate, learn the law before you start spouting what is and what isn't. Step out with a smile on your face and not like you have just trodden on lego. Treat guests with courtesy and respect and don't come out your cave looking for a fight - because you just embarrassed yourself in front of your receptionist (who was actually really nice)."
Other than that the hotel was fine. My guests had no complaints. Unfortunately I made the booking and I also leave the reviews! Funny how that works!
