The property was fine. The room was ok. They did not have a luggage storage facility which caused a large problem for us. I have never had a hotel refuse to store luggage. We were prepared to pay for it and were going to return to the hotel for a further 4 nights on our return from Dublin. We will not be returning to Ibis again.

Place where carpets could be a part of crime scene
Carpets in the rooms are so filthy that You can write a book or two about what was going on in these rooms based on stains in the carpet On positive note, breakfast is good

It's a budget property and good value but figure in a 10 pound shuttle ride to and from airport. City bus 103 passes from airport but takes 40 minutes. Hotel reminds one of the Soviet Union. Nice bar and restaurant plus a good pub 4 minutes walk.

Awful sleep and bad food
The clue for this hotel is in the title..."budget"....so we knew to not expect anything fancy. However, even for a budget hotel you still expect an acceptable level of quality. We checked into our room which was extremely basic (as expected), but we were only staying one night ahead of an early morning flight so the basic nature of the room wasn't really an issue. We then went down to the restaurant/bar area to have some dinner. My partner and I both ordered the burger and chips. The chips were under-cooked and cold, while the meat in the beef burger tasted like it was extremely low-quality. The burger was also covered in far too much sauce and cheese, which made it very messy to eat and cold. The only redeeming feature of the bar area was that there was a "happy hour" offering 2-for-1 on drinks!! The king size bed only had two pillows. One of which was quite plump and comfortable, the other pillow was very thin and lumpy like it had been used for many years. There were no spare pillows in the room (which you'd expect as standard). The air conditioning in the room was on when we arrived and it was incredibly noisy. There were no instructions provided on how to operate the air conditioning. This left the room freezing and me out of bed in the middle of the night pressing random buttons trying to work out how to operate the air conditioning and turn it off (there wasn't an obvious 'off' button!). All in all, I would never stay here again. Awful sleep, awful food.

If you're early, like I was, waiting to check-in is not the most comfortable. However, it's not a big deal and can't really be pinned on the hotel, it can just happen and it's made a little worse with what's available in the area, which is not much. The TV didn't work, but not a big problem either nowadays. One of the outlets and a light. Overall a very good personal experience considering also the price, which was very reasonable. The planes flying 50m overhead can be found to be a little unnerving and bothersome, but I want to be positive and think it was pretty cool, considering the airport's proximity, which is very convenient. Concluding, recommended!
