Bureaucratic for bureaucratic sake.

My biggest issue was the forced need to provide either my drivers licence or passport numbers that were recorded and kept. I do and did not consent to this data being gathered and you have no right to it. I can understand that you need to see ID to prove I am who made the booking, but recording this data is wrong. I stay in some 80 hotels a year and have never been asked for my passport number in any other. Further the first this was apparent was at the point at 11pm trying to check in, “no id number then no room, it is our policy” is frankly ridiculous customer service. I will not be staying in your hotels anymore.

Well, when they say budget in their name, they are really very budget. This is a sleeping room with a washroom. Absolute barebones. 1 socket plug, room is 10x10 if not smaller. No ironing board, no water bottles, no wardrobe (just a rod under a cabinet and some hangers, no safe, no glassware. The service staff was friendly and helpful, housekeeping was good. Elevator is super slow, there is two but one was always Out of Order. Electricity savings I guess? I'd spend the extra bucks next time and get a half decent hotel.
