Expensive even for London. Breakfast was very poor. Location - far to far from a tube and then being the Circle line is not good. Would not consider again - was an expensive mistake !

Hotel neighborhood was quiet. Bathroom was terrible! Open shower with no curtain or door so water went EVERYWHERE!! Not enough towels to soak up the entire bathroom floor which was flooded when running the shower. No fan in the bathroom either to try to get some of the moisture out. I would normally have showered there every morning but just couldn’t under these conditions. And I was at this hotel for five nights! Also the sink in the bathroom was terrible too because the faucet stuck out so much. You couldn’t lean in to wash your face in the basin without wacking your head on the faucet. So water went everywhere also when just trying to wash your face. Whomever designed that bathroom clearly never used the sink or shower because they were completely awful.

Clean rooms and bed, however, we were in a small, dark basement room with peeling wallpaper, carpet that had not been laid properly, and a heavily curtained window on a remote which offered a pre-determined amount of light. Although the tv was apparently hooked to a satellite, there were only 2 channels available, featuring period dramas from the early 1990’s. Bathroom featured only two small, sour smelling towels for two people without face cloths (we did ask). The breakfast was uninspired with eggs that turned grey from not being refreshed, cold, uncovered hash browns, sausages that were full of filler, canned mushrooms and milk left on the counter. The breakfast area was not monitored by staff, very few serving utensils available leading to cross contamination, counters littered with stray cornflakes, bits of cheese, toast crumbs and dirty dishes. For the most part the staff was pleasant, although one staff member was napping at the front desk, then complained about how bored she was when we joked with her about sleeping on the job. We will not return to this hotel.

This is a lovely little hotel on a quiet tree lined street. But close to Kensington High Street and all of its transportation and shopping amenities.

The hotel was unacceptable. They have cats there. I have a strong allergy to cat dander, which was everywhere. I never imagined that I would have to ask a decent hotel whether they have cats around. I have asked the manager/owner for a complete refund, to which she agreed. We moved to another hotel. Please facilitate my complete refund for this ridiculous fiasco.

Nice location a d hotel but a little dissapointed
I booked 2 rooms both classed as King size... i am unsure if this was bed size and if so the bed was not king size in fact more like a double. The room was clean and had an en-suite bathroom. Our window strangley looked into the breakfast room but had opaque glass and a curtain for privacy. The teceeption staff werehelpful and courteous, hotel clean and perfectly situated in Kensigyon ro all the amenities. My sleep was disturbed on both nights by firstly rattling and banging as we were next to the kitchen and the sevond night i was woken by food stinking out our room... saugages being cooked at 1pm ish? Breakfast was ok but they did t have alot of variety. I would possibly go back if not in the basement... perhaps the other rooms were bigger amd better... an honest review of the hotel. At the end of the day i needed a base to explore london and thats what i got.

Very attentive & nice staff; very clean; had lifts, so dragging suitcases upstairs; ok breakfast, a bit sparse if you ate later; room was very small with no place for large suitcases & the overhead shower ran outside shower stall so used handheld showerhead, but water was easy to regulate; however, overall it was a great place to stay!
