What I like most about this place is 1) the walkable area within, 2) how close it is to the station (literally a 2 minute walk to get to the platform), 3) the room set up. I like simplicity and comfort and this place provided both of thise things. Plus, the amenities around the area are plentiful.

Sewage smell in rooms, KIP refused to fix it

we needed a room with four beds, so we chose KIP for the location and decent pricing. Upon entering our room, which was clearly freshly-cleaned, we noticed a sewage smell emanating from the sink and toilet. This was extremely off-putting and they had sprayed a lot of product to cover it, but it still pervaded the whole room. We immediately went to the desk to request a room change, but were told that we would have to pay nearly double to change rooms and that they would not do anything at all to remedy the situation. We chose to stay because our budget didn't have room to double the hotel expense. It was genuinely unpleasant to be in the room and we stayed out as much as possible. I will never book at KIP again and am warning others to avoid booking with them as well. It is wild to me to pay for a hotel room and be told that I MUST accept the smell of human waste in my room or pay double.

Bad experience this time

Rooms were freezing, i had to wear my clothes in bed and water boiling, couldnt even shower it was so hot. Asked about moving rooms as we were stayimg 2 nights but this could only be facilitated if id return to the hotel at 1pm. As i had a family engagement out of the city it wasnt possible. No other solution was offered to me. Ive stayed here before and always enjoyed it. It was so disappointing this time.
