Excellent price for a hotel so close to Heathrow. Couldn’t have asked for more really. Some of the staff were a little more unfriendly than you would expect but the hotel was lovely, just a shame the person who checked us in hadn’t been on his phone and talking to a colleague about something else at the same time.

This property is dated but once you see the staff welcome, the rooms, comfort and how quiet the rooms are..the age does not matter! So easy to get around..buses right outside the door.

The hotel’s reception area felt bright, clean & modern. We enjoyed a pleasant meal at the restaurant. The bedroom and bathroom had been updated so felt clean. We were very aware of when our bedroom ‘neighbours’ arrived. Unfortunately, we could hear most conversations through the bedroom wall. That said as it got later it became more quiet. We expected outside noise with the location of the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect for us the next morning when we needed to return our rental vehicle. I didn’t like that the elevator seemed older and unsafe. On one occasion the door failed to close properly, so we promptly used the stairs instead! I also noticed that many fire doors on the hallways were open. That was concerning.

Disappointing stay.

In arrival we were told that there was no room to upgrade to however that was not true and gold hotels.com stated thatbif rooms were available then an upgrade was possible. The room we got was so dirty, lots of dust and we did not even use the kettle or cups. I accidently left headphones behind in the room and when I called and ask for lost or stolen property I was told they were not found. It would be nice to be able to trust staff. I have learnt my lesson and will choose a different hotel at Heathrow next time. It was disappointing overall.
