Didn’t like the attitude of the front desk staff on check in. They tried to sell me a room upgrade but when I asked for it under the vip access I was told they didn’t have availability- on availability was if we wanted to pay for it!

Have always loved this hotel. Rooms are lovely and the pool is great however we had a family room last time - 2 adults and 2 kids and the corridor was really noisy. Not with other children or families but one door to the lift area that banged loudly shut every time someone went through and groups of adults coming back around 3am just making a lot of noise. Wasn’t a very peaceful night in the end

Birthday weekend in London - a mixed stay!

First impressions of the hotel were good, but it turned out to be a stay of 2 halves. Check-in was smooth, and the hotel had provided a birthday greeting & chocolates in our room, which was a nice touch. The hotel is in a great location very close to St Pauls, but in a side street, so lovely and quiet. Our room was clean, the shower was very good, nice to have bathrobes & slippers, & the complimentary tea tray was well stocked. Pillows were rock hard, so we both woke up with stiff necks. We requested softer pillows, and only 1 was delivered, so we had to ask for a 2nd one. These were an improvement on the original pillows, but still not great. Self service buffet breakfast on the 1st morning was very good. We were seated very quickly in the bright atrium, and the choice of food was good. Nice to have an omelette station - omelette was made very quickly and delivered to our table. Breakfast on the 2nd morning was not as good - items missing & cold food. We used the spa - the steam room was lovely (expecially welcome after walking round London for a few hours) but the pool was far too busy and not enjoyable (20+ people in an 18m pool, with others sat around the sides). Our room was not cleaned during our stay. We mentioned this to Reception at 3.30pm on day 2, to be told housekeeping hadn't got around to our room yet. A housekeeper came at 5.15pm, but this was too late, as we were showering & getting ready to go out for the evening. 1 of 2 main lifts out of order all weekend!

Amazing stay.

What a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Right opposite St Paul’s! As soon as me and my friends arrived we felt so welcome, check in was smooth and we even got a complimentary mimosa. The room was lovely and enough space for the 5 of us and the room was quiet. We found a lovely Asian restaurant not far from the hotel on the Saturday night and on Sunday morning we made use of the hotels spa. We loved it. We would highly recommend a stay here again! Tube stations not far and loads of eating places nearby, plus a shopping mall.

Hotel Review: Leonardo St. Paul’s, London Our stay at the Leonardo St. Paul’s in London was a mix of highs and lows. Check-in was a bit of a strange experience. I inquired about an upgrade offer from an email I’d received, but the staff had trouble accessing it. They went through the available upgrades and costs, only to eventually inform me that nothing was actually available. In the end, I opted to pay for breakfast instead. The breakfast situation had its own hiccup. When we arrived the next morning, we were told we hadn’t paid, despite having a receipt to prove otherwise. Thankfully, once we showed the receipt, the staff allowed us in. However, when checking out, it became apparent that the payment hadn’t been properly added to the system, though it was eventually sorted without further issue. On a more positive note, the Executive Lounge was a highlight of our stay. The lounge staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and truly added to the experience. As for the room, it was fine—nothing particularly memorable but adequate for the stay. The location of the hotel is superb, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Service throughout the hotel was generally friendly, which helped balance out the initial bumps. Overall, the stay had its share of minor frustrations but also some bright spots, especially the excellent service in the Executive Lounge. If the front desk processes were a little smoother, the experience would have been much better.
