Our stay was okay. We arrived early in the morning, and they accommodated us, which was appreciated. However, there was no TV remote in the room. We asked for one, but they insisted it should already be there. We double-checked, but there was no remote. We ended up staying for 3 nights without a working TV.
We booked a last minute overnight stay. Two of us in a room for 5. Very clean with everything we could have needed - fridge, kettle, microwave, hairdryer, great shower, TV etc.
Beds were a bit hard but I think that’s personal preference as I like a soft mattress but room was very clean and well decorated. Would definitely stay again. Five minute walk from Paddington Station with shops and restaurants nearby. Close to Hyde Park - we stayed for Winter Wonderland. We couldn’t check in until 4 but were able to drop our bags off earlier in the day. Easy check in.
Great budget hotel near Paddington.
Second time I've stayed here. This trip I had a triple room. Nice a spacious.
It was very cold week in London but the room was lovely and warm heating worked really well and windows were not drafty like many other hotels in the area.
Would highly recommend.

Great location near Paddington Station.
The building is gorgeous outside. Unfortunately, the inside of the property could do with upgrading. Our room was basic, and there were no hooks for anything in the bathroom, so we had to leave towels on the floor.
Overall, location of Linden hotel felt like what you are paying for. The area of Paddington was lovely- lots of restaurants around, parks nearby, walkable to Kensington Gardens, 5 minute walk to Paddington Station. It was our first stay in London so I’m not sure if all hotels are like this- but Lindon House is a very old building and there is NO LIFT. My friend and I were placed on the very top floor (approx. 6 flights, 77 steps). We weren’t offered any kind of assistance bringing our luggage up and the staircase was super narrow and winding so keep that all in mind when booking. Also no refrigerator (again this might be common in London hotels, I’m not sure). The room felt like a dorm room in an attic but I guess this is what a 3-star hotel gets you in the city…
Added to my list of affordable places to stay. Only one regret was that the beds felt as though there were no mattresses on, very hard. Lovely staff and convenient location.
