Only giving a good review as opposed to excellent and that was purely down to the room heating. For some reason the room ac was set so high and could not be changed and this was with quite a few other guests too. I mean 28.5° was very uncomfortable to sleep in. They did supply portable fans but these just blew the warm air around the room. Credit where credit is due, they did try their best. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Service at reception very poor, as if reception staff did not understand English. Checking in took too long. Tea bags and shower gel and water not replaced in my room - I requested that they should be supplied but were not delivered. Worst, I have been charged a pre-authorisation fee to my credit card on top of my room stay and have been told it will take up to five days to refund - unacceptable. The hotel is trading on the Twickenham stadium name and has a "captive" audience as such. The Rugby Football Union should be made aware that the hotel brings it no credit.

Parking now terrible and room not comfortable.
Have stayed her happily twice before. Not this time. Car parking has now changed significantly - from entering gate d and driving round to the west side of the hotel and a couple hundred metre walk. Not now - now longer drive up the road and on to north car park - could not park and walk my little children 800m on own down busy main road. When I asked is this a permanent change - they said they don’t know. This change should be communicated. Room is on the inside of hotel - so no daylight in winter. Window wouldn’t open. Room with air con on never went below 26 degrees. Tv didn’t work and wires out and frayed in the back. Will not stay here again.

Stayed here for visit to rugby- two nights but won’t come back. Poor service and basic housekeeping, unable to answer basic question about where rugby tour started. Poor communication with customer. Be careful - “pre-authorisation” meant I was actually charged for something I didn’t have so needed a refund. Sharp practice!

The Hotel took payment from me on arrival and then called me a few days later to make me pay for the mistakes they had made. No allowances for the seriousness of the error they made and tried to hold me responsible. The hotel is a disgrace and should not be trusted. They took advantage of a blind person and have shown nothing but discrimination towards me. They have been reported for their behaviour

Unfortunately the TV was not working and we called reception to report it. No one came so we couldn’t use it. When we challenged this the following morning we were given a bottle of water as a sorry. When we opened the curtains in the morning you couldn’t see out as the window was covered in bird poo to the extent we closed it again. Not a section of clean window to look out. We were told it would be 5 mins for more hot food on the buffet breakfast but none came. Then we were told the area closed in 10 mins and at this point my husband did get quit short with the restaurant staff and they brought us what we had been waiting for. I think the room must have not been checked as we only seemed to have one persons portions of the biscuits and tea between 2. We rarely stay away and were deflated by the experience. We had chosen the hotel to experience all the rugby and atmosphere and the room let it down.

Very nice hotel. The staff were extremely nice. Their was a hot breakfast and it was very inviting. The only downside was that the room, especially the bathroom, could have been cleaned better. The bathrooms had a lot of hair and dust. Other than that, everything was fine. Would certainly stay there again.
