Ideal small London hotel
Ideal small hotel for a night away in London. Very close to Pimlico tube station it is easy to get to. Room and the rest of the hotel is exceptionally well cared for, not the tired look which so many small hotels suffer from. The paintwork was fresh and tidy, bathroom spotlessly clean and everything we needed was there. Only one thing I should point out is there is no lift. It was clearly stated before booking but by other reviews it appears some people just aren’t aware/don’t read the details before booking. Its a small hotel, few of them have such facilities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone 👍

Excellent place, modern but still has the classy European touch that I like in a place when traveling to the UK. The staff and management are top notch and great location we will definitely stay there when we come back to the UK for a visit

Great location, but stairs required.
We've stayed in the Victoria area hotels before, so we knew the room would be small and the hallways tight. But what we didn't expect was the lack of elevator. Being several floors up, it was quite the challenge lugging the heavy luggage up to and down from the room. But overall, the room was tight but nice. Typical of London hotels, especially in this area. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful with how to get places, giving us maps, and giving suggestions of touring around London. They also watched the luggage, for a fee, on our last day.

The owners were very personable. The room was basic but very clean and very reasonably priced, especially for the area. Within 5 min walk to the underground, I was able to easily navigate my way throughout the city. Would definitely stay again!

Very cozy, clean and quiet hotel with just the right amenities during my stay in London. The room itself was spacious and clean, and was good spot to rest after busy days around the city. The cleaners would come daily, so I would come back to a clean space each evening. The owners incredibly kind and helpful, giving me recommendations around town and transportation advice. The hotel is located in an area that is very walkable to near by shops and cafes, as well as transit. I quite enjoyed my stay at Melbourne House Hotel and would come back!

Had a triple room for my daughter and granddaughter perfect all we needed and short walk to the Apollo theatre to see Wicked. Owner was really friendly and helpful and gave us all the information we needed to eat and directions to walk to theatre. Clean room,quiet, tea and coffee. Everything we wanted. Would stay again.
