I would like to begin by highlighting the VERY POSITIVE aspects of our stay.. The check-in was very smooth and efficient with very friendly, receptive and responsive reception team… who I have to say were a credit to the hotel. The restaurant and bar staff were also friendly efficient and effective at producing quality food at the breakfasts we experienced. A VERY SPECIAL mention must be said regarding the day shift security operative MOHAMMAD… he was quite exceptional and in these troubled times particularly in London made us feel comfortable, safe and secure… a fine ambassador for your venue and ideal for the front of house. The “cleaning” and the cleaning staff would on a SWOT analysis fall into WEAKNESS, OPPORTUNITY & THREAT… the room unfortunately was not clean on arrival by any stretch of the imagination… when we did encounter them and were polite and friendly we were met in return with staff who seemed quite unhappy about going about their work ti say the very least…

If you want a hotel that balances convenience, walkability, and a decent standard of clean, Mercure London Earls Court is a good bet. It’s well-situated for transport, offers enough nearby amenities to avoid needing a car, and the hotel itself gets good marks for cleanliness. Just go in with realistic expectations about occasional issues (like water pressure) and take usual city-precautions, especially at night or in quieter side streets.

Window handle almost came off in my hand in Rm 709. First room while my wife had my phone downstairs to sort something out at the desk and I ran upstairs to get the baggage but when I went to leave the door handle came disconnected. I had no phone and neither does the room so I was locked in until I was able to shout an alert to someone in the hallway. After the first day all went well.

Near the ground transportation; walk 5 minutes. The restaurant in the hotel and the bar very good service the meal are good. We had to ask for the clean room and it's done fast.
