I would come back again. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There is no heating control in the rooms and we found it cooler than we are used to in the morning, but they let us have a small heater in our room.

Weekend with friends and partners.

We stayed the weekend at this hotel as a group of friends and partners. 6 of us in total. It’s an older hotel so doesn’t have all the mod cons, but it’s kept clean and tidy and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other people. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to Hyde park and there are plenty of eating and drinking establishments local. The reception is run by a very friendly team and there is always someone there to help and answer any questions or sort out any problems. There is also quite a big communal area with sofas and chairs to chill out and use of a piano, which was great for us as my partner is a music instructor. So at the end of the night she played and we had a little sing song. There is also a licensed bar and tea and coffee on offer 24/7. Breakfast wasn’t amazing but it was ok and enough to give you a good start to the day. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

I liked that breakfast was included. They have had different options to choose from. The coffee could improve. The staff is very nice and helpfull. Our bed was a little soft in my personal opinion.

This was a return visit, and I was not disappointed. I had a very warm welcome reception at the reception desk. Yes the decor is dated, and I knew that from previous visits, but the rooms are very clean and a good cooked breakfast is available. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit in 2026.

It’s a good place and close to Hyde Park and the Paddington Metro station. However, it was discouraging that we never had a normal explanation how to navigate heating and properly use shower. We booked this place out of desperation with no advance planning, there were a few little quirks/inconveniences but it was also the most London-y feeling place we stayed at. It felt secure having g a buzz-in door, the elevator held more than 2 people at a time (plus luggage lol), and the included breakfast was freshly cooked and filling. Staff was extremely kind and everything was clean, although well-worn. We met a frequent traveler who stays there very regularly, and it was very well located in waling distance of Paddington Station and Hyde Park.

This hotel is in a great area, easy access to Paddington Station. The staff were all super friendly and informative. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are very cozy with a decent size bathroom. I will definitely book at this hotel again when traveling to London.
