The staff was very helpful especially with tips on how to navigate around London’s transit strike. The hotel is in a great location only 10 minute walk to Paddington Station. Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Hot water was very hot so be careful when showering. Room was a bit worn looking but wasn’t an issue given it’s a 2 star and was expected. Would stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights visiting Camden and central London we found it a great location for access and walks through Hyde park. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking at the hotel was outside the property so another great advantage. Breakfast good and service was very pleasant. Room we were in just needed some updating cosmetically.

Although this is definitely an older building, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was very good. There is a full bar there for a quiet drink at the end of the day.

Staff helpful and friendly. Single room was very small (looked bigger in photo) though all amenities provided as advertised. Shower moderate at best and could do with updating. Interior decor tired. Location is a quieter part of London, away from the noise, chaos and bedlam of the high street.

More like a prisons than a hotel. There isn’t any AC in the hotel at all. Hot meals are not allowed in rooms even Uber Eats/Doordash. No guest are allowed llin your room. Not allowed to leave with your key. Rooms are outdated and very small. The very elevator is slow. Aside from the location the property is very inconvenient.

The second time continues to be a charm

This is the second time staying at this property, which we have come to love. It is in a spectacular neighborhood with a very charming vibe. If you’re looking for a non-institutional property with comfortable rooms, friendly staff and extra extraordinary access to public transportation, this is an outstanding choice. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the lobby is welcoming, and the staff is warm and friendly.

This is an beautiful older hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The morning breakfast was hearty and convenient. We were there in intense June heat and managed to find comfort with the fan and open window in the evening. Definitely would stay here again

It is located about a 5 minute walk away from Paddington Station. The building is lovely and it is historic. The rooms are clean, small, however we just slept there as we were touring London most of our time. The breakfast is fabulous and ended up being cost efficient as well. One meal that we didn't have to purchase. The staff are fabulous and kind. 24 hours.

Last time I use this Hotel (2nd visit)

Staff were polite and helpful with local knowledge. The room was tiny, the bed uncomfortable, 2 internal doors and minimal stirsge. No one offered to help us with our 4 bags despite our room having 2 staircases to deal with after taking the lift to the 1st floor Full English Breakfast was a "joke'... a plate swimming in baked beans and mushrooms, one slice of bacon. NO sausages and not a 'hint' of a runny yoke

For one night, this place was perfectly situated near Paddington Station. Great staff. Quiet street, even with the window opened. I was surprised by the large breakfast which comes with your room rate. I would definitely stay here again.

To call this property dated would be overly exaggerating and modestly underestimating its true condition. The mattress was clearly circa 1960s and closer to the beginning of the decade. I am sure every form of bed bug extermination has been tested on this chemically stained relic; however, I did like the clean white linen hiding these past scientific research. Cleaning staff though were excellent when not working in the kitchen. So much more to list and yet I suggest it’s time to shut down and gut the past, and start anew with more that just clean mattresses.
