Solo female stayed for 7 nights in June 2024. Gorgeous little apartment on level 3. Lovely lounge area with 2 beds, tv. Clean kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster. Spacious bathroom, shower over bath, and importantly washing machine. There was nothing to complain about. Concierge and booking office very helpful. Enjoyed a lovely time. Sainsbury's 2 min walk, everything closeby. Great property and area

If you require parking this is not the venue to stay at, even though they mention that parking is available on site, it is run by a separate company. We were forced to pay £70 per day.

The building and staff were excellent . However the studio we had had not been properly cleaned . It kept having electrical faults . Also it should be made clear on the advertising it is a couch that converts into bed with a not comfortable mattress. It is a lovely area to stay in however

The check out date was wrong. It took for ever to correct. The room was far too small and had no facilities, as expected. The air conditioning was not working and was never fixed. A simple electric fan was provided. Totally unacceptable. In 7 days never cleaned the room, collect garbage nor change towels. The room was in a basement, with a tiny window facing the street. The description of the room did not match what I had expected. The only positive thing is the location. I did not enjoy my stay at all. Office personnel were not attentive and could not care less about my concerns.

The property was overpriced for what it offered. They charge to use bedding on the pull out couch and the first night there was no one to even give us the bedding! The toilet didn’t flush properly. The knob in the shower came off. We requested maintenance for those items and were told they would come that day. No one ever did. There was no liquid dish soap. Very poor accommodations for the price. I would not recommend staying there.

For the most part we really enjoyed our stay here. When we arrived at it after an overnight flight around 9 AM we discovered that the hotel was overbooked. They were very prompt about getting an agent to work with us to resolve the issue. We had come over for the Queen‘s funeral so headed straight to the queue for the lying in state and by 3 PM that afternoon they had texted us to let us know They sorted out the problem and our efficiency Apt was ready. The room was well fitted out and had everything we needed except it turns out a working television set which we didn’t know until the next day. After standing in line for 14 hours we slept and slept and slept. But then when we tried to turn the TV on we could get nothing. The front desk was totally unable to help us and because of the bank holiday we ended up not having access to the coverage of the queens funeral weekend. We tried everything we could but couldn’t get the TV to work. Fortunately I did have my laptop. This was a huge disappointment. Other than that the flat was great And the location convenient.

Confusing that they have two separate offices …not connected to each other….when you had a question. My problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Charlie from maintenance. Entrance completely covered by hoarding because of building work which caused some problems because Uber and taxis could not find the place! A large sign saying it was NELL GWYNN HOUSE would be easy and helpful.

s - Fantastic location. - Pods are small but all that one needs as a place to crash. -s - Beware: Expedia falsely advertises the pods as having a kitchen, dining area, etc. even though they do *not* - an expensive detail, if planning on cooking! -, and even though the property has asked them to change the description. - Beware: Expedia, unlike other booking sites, gives no indication that the pods are in the basement. - Lack of hot water in shower - Mini-fridge doesn't get sufficiently cold - Pods are not "soundproof rooms" as overall property description states; in fact, the building's adjacent back entrance buzzer ringing all night, especially on weekends, is easily audible
