The location can’t be beat, right on Trafalgar Square and close to so much including several transit lines. This was our 2nd time staying and will stay again in the future!

Sadly for us we did not have a good experience here. Our issues were with the housekeeping department and one particular front desk person. The rest of the staff and service were excellent. I came back on one occasion to find my extra room key removed from my room and blue cleaner stains all over my bed. When I complained the front desk person was argumentative, defensive and unprofessional. The next day we came back there were bigger blue stains of cleaner on the bed covers still wet and the windows were left wide open. We also found a coffee stained toilet roll in the extra toilet roll container. This should not happen in any hotel. My husband looked at the cleaners troller and he saw a spray bottle with the same color liquid in it. Housekeepers in question did not speak English. I wouldn’t expect this in a 1 star hotel. On a positive note I would like to say that the front desk person with the red hair was exemplary. Very positive and has excellent customer service skills. The maintenance staff were excellent and responded immediately to minor issues with tv and battery that operated the blinds. The coffee shop staff were excellent and it was very conveniently located in the lobby. There were other housekeeping staff that were excellent it was not all of them. I did find the group of men that hang out right outside the hotel at times on the ramp that you push your luggage up to be very off putting.

The location was very convenient as it was central from all the key sights. Very near west end and several train stations. The room was clean although I did come back to the windows wide open once which alarmed me as that is not typical for any hotel, fortunately nothing was stolen. Housekeeping must have just forgotten to close the window. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and clean. The only issue I had was that there was some roadwork right outside and at one point a pipe burst in the middle of the night. The repairwork was very loud and i could feel vibrations through the floor and bed. The hotel made efforts to make up for this though so it was fine in the end.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel on the edge of Covent Garden. Very convenient location for visiting all the sights. Only complaint is noise from the plaza, overnight rumble from the Underground, and lots of sirens.
