Great experience.
Location is great. Many shops, bars and restaurants around. Very close to Hyde park, walking distance to Paddington station. Friendly staff. Rooms are really clean. Continental breakfast worth the money.

Nice location and a well presented hotel. The bed however was a lumpy mess and the shower fluctuating between boiling hot and freezing cold water made for a unpleasant start to the day.

Mediocre Stay, not too exciting
I stayed just one night, although I would have stayed over the weekend as well, but... we had a basement room. It was fine for one brief stay, being that we really needed sleep. But the view from the window was nothing more than a window well, and the room was very cramped. The bathtub was raised and I slipped getting both in, and out for a shower. But the front desk was kind and helpful, and the beds comfortable.

A lovely hotel in a quiet location. Rooms well appointed and very clean. Great breakfast!!! My only criticism is my lower ground floor room didn’t have curtains as it had glass that was patterned so people couldn’t see in, but I would have liked to black out the light. Didn’t ask for a room change as it wasn’t a big deal for me!

Inexpensive, clean & close by
My sister and I wanted to stay at an inexpensive hotel in Notting Hill, so we could explore the area -- and this hotel was nothing special, but met our needs. Nice neighborhood -- good pub near by, and an easy walk to the famous "blue door" and "bookstore" from the film.

Not bad considering the reasonable price and convenient location in Bayswater. My only complaint is that my room was on the basement floor, next to the area where they put out the laundry. There were men carrying bags of laundry to and fro quite early in the morning.

I needed a one night short stay in a local hotel and this one was really good. Simple bedroom room but very clean as was the bathroom. Coffee, biscuits and water supplied as per expectation. A nice note from the cleaning staff alongside the towels and linen. Reception staff friendly and very professional. I would happily stay here again and throughly recommend the Park Avenue for anyone planning on a trip to London.
