I loved staying in the Park Plaza riverbank for 6 nights. Its situated on the albert embarkment running on south side of the thames, walkable to Parliament and trafalgar square via the Lambeth bridge. Or head other way to vauxhall bridge to catch victoria line Underground. Hotel itself served fabulous buffet breakfast included with $210 a nite room ( expedia discount). Room is super clean, bed real comfortable, mini bar and impressive TV w. movies ( a fee). Staff warm and accommodating. Possible to window w view of Big Ben for extra charge. Deliver room service at least to midnight. As solo traveler om vacation this was 5 star in every way. THE underground 10 minutes away (at vauxhall) is always an option but London is great walking city and this hotel is perfectly located. Loved that buffet breakfast all you can eat. Cant ask for more.

It feels like you are a number “another guest”. Too dark inside. I wrote the hotel months in advanced to acknowledge my son as this was his graduation gift and dream trip to London! No one said a word. Late check in was their rule, we arrived by 10am. Some receptionist were rude! We called and asked for cuttelry and someone provided wrong information. My son has to go to the front desk and ask again, they sent him somewhere else, then they said someone was bringing them. I had to call again then a very nice gentleman came and apologize for the miscommunication. The room is ok, the bathroom floor is slippery. It was not safe.

The hotel is very clean and new, closed to the underground Vault walking distance. Walking distance to Westminster palace and London eye. Staff were very friendly specially Tarra. We get early checking as curtesy. Close to restaurants.
