Great hotel. Amazing staff.

Arrived at the hotel three hours before check in. I was going to ask if we could leave our bags with them until the room was ready, however, the room was ready! Went was the last time you went to a hotel and the room was ready 3 hours before check in??? Anyway- the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and very spacious. Breakfast was very nice indeed and once again all of the breakfast staff including the chef was very helpful and friendly. Unusually the checkout time was midday, which was a bonus. The staff also stored our luggage so we could go off for the day which was very helpful. Oh and I had a phone charger problem and once again the staff came to the immediate rescue. All in all, the hotel and more importantly staff get a solid 10/10 from us.

This was such a great hotel and in a very convenient location (3-4 minute walk to the Victoria Tube Station). The staff were welcoming and helpful (they even let me check in early as my room was clean). Added bonus: the bed wasn’t a solid rock. So often when I travel the bed is a brick, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the bed was supportive, but still plush.

Excellent location near Victoria station. Number bus lines acceible within a short walkable distance from the hotel. Buses are super easy to use. Simply tap your credit card after boarding. A word of caution about using Google pay for bus/train tickets. The reader usually will not register your tap the first time, so the driver will stop you. By then, the phone is waiting for you unlock Google wallet to approve the payment. You do that and tap again. All is good, but when you review you charge history, you'll see double payment!. We learned this the hard way.

Dark interior

Not enough light in bathroom so practically showering in the dark. Only switch to turning light for bathroom is near entry door. We opted out of daily room service and took a bottle of wine. I didn’t like the wine (the only bottle I didn’t like the whole trip). The bed was only ok.
