Overall Good Stay, With a Couple of Minor Issues

Overall, the stay was good. Only complaints were the bathroom door didn't latch properly and the air con was weak. Everything else was nice. Really appreciated the rewards for opting for reduced housekeeping. The staff was helpful and the room was surprisingly quiet for a corner room.

Nice hotel but had issues checking in. Woken during the night with man talking extremely loudly on the phone at 3am. Maybe he couldn't hear very well as he had the tv on at the same time.

We have stayed here before and that swayed our decision to book again but… Good points: very clean. Nice room of a good size. Not so good points: Very inattentive and miserable looking staff. No explanation of when our room would be ready when we arrived, literally just told it’s still dirty but you can leave your bags and come back later. No welcome at breakfast, couldn’t even raise a smile and then shown to table and left to work out what to do - basically totally self service including drinks, previously hot drinks were brought to you. For a relatively expensive one night stay in a premium hotel you’d expect more.

Irritating negotiation at reception

Overpriced four-star. They offer breakfast at 17 pounds but only if you agree to all breakfasts at the hotel during your stay; if not, it’s 25 pounds. Then they offer a bottle of wine or restaurant coupons in lieu of daily room cleaning. Annoying negotiations to cut costs, extract more money from guests. A turnoff.

Great location, nice hotel, friendly

Hotel was fantastic. Great location for access to everything in London. Only negative that I would add, is the booking was always for 3 people. But the hotel had it as 2. So room size and accomodations were much smaller than expected.

This was our 4th time staying here. The room was very nice. The bathroom, while nice, feels cavernous. The ventilation and lighting is lacking. After a shower, steam is an issue. And with no fan, bathroom noises are impossible to mask. Can make on feel self conscious.
