Property was convenient but not for me. I had a large suitcase and almost 60 and was put in the top room of several flights. I didn’t mind too much but many this age would struggle.the staff were all kind but my room especially sloped a lot and with vertigo I did struggle. Luckily I was out of the room most of the time and it is fine for popping in and out. For the money and location it is ok. Otherwise I would choose elsewhere.

This was a perfect place for us to stay. I was looking for cheap but also for clean. It was both. A for the cleanliness. We also had personable staff who gave us a great recommendation for a breakfast restaurant and also let us keep our luggage with them for a few hours, which really helped us.

The shared bathroom was not a problem at all during our few days at the princess hotel. The staff kept areas super clean and the location was perfect for the trains ❤️

my own fault - but i booked this without fully checking this. The room had a strong odour upon walking in - i went out for a walk came back and the smell was still there. In addition the rooms dont have toilets which i find very odd and inconvenient - i decided to relocate to another hotel due to the smell and lack of facilities within the room

Basic, uncomfortable, did not sleep well!
I was after a basic nights stay ahead of catching a train, but it was even more basic than I had imagined. The shared bathroom was tiny (a bit like being in train toilet) there is no AC and it was hot, and with the window open really noisy, there was no bedside light, you have either full bright light, or nothing. Finally the bed was very short, so for a 192cm guy, my legs hung off the end, not very comfortable...Not great value for money The staff at reception were at least very friendly!

The Princess was perfect for me!! Starting with the great communication before I arrived, then continued great service throughout my stay, and a helpful goodbye as I left. It is spotlessly clean, quiet and safe and always had a smiling helper nearby. This is an outstanding hotel and I recommend it highly!!

Couple things I didn’t like: No private bathroom. In USA we take that for granted. Don’t. It was an unpleasant surprise. Having said that, they accommodated a room upgrade for £45. It was a bit warm and A/C was also xtra. For £165 a night I would expect that, so I think the room ended being too expensive for what it offered. We did not take the A/C upgrade. I still round up the stay to 5 stars because the staff was super friendly. They accommodated several requests I made with a very warm and friendly attitude. That is not so common these days, and customer service goes a long way for me. Also, it is located in a very centric area with access to all kinds of transportation to move around the city. Kings Cross station is less that a block away.

I paid £85 pounds for two nights and considering the location(a couple of hundred meters away from kings cross/saint Pancras station entrances), it was great value. I booked a room with two single beds, the beds were a bit small but the room was a good size. The toilet/shower was shared, there were four floors and a shared bathroom on the top and ground floor, I'm not sure what the situation was like for the other floors. The toilet and showers were clean but the room was very small. The hotel is in a great location and the room was nice(no AC) and seemed perfectly safe, great value for money, I'd recommend it.
