Really nice, friendly staff and very clean rooms, serviced daily. Close to the Underground and opposite Finsbury Park, near to shops and restaurants. It also felt safe, with a 24 hour front desk, which is important for me as a woman travelling alone. Room was a little noisy and airless though - but there was a fan. Toiletries were just a couple of bars of soap but tea and coffee in the room was nice. Breakfast was a little patchy (they were very busy as Taylor Swift was in town!), although I was very grateful that they opened early for me as I had to check out before 7:30 today. A good, cheap and cheerful option for Central London. Book for no-frills but a really lovely warm welcome!
Hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. The hotel is near Finsbury Park station which is very convenient. Only negatives are that noise from the street can be heard through the night, and also, to gain access into the hotel it's required to ring a bell, and then staff will buzz you in. It's a bit inconvenient but staff respond pretty quickly.
Unfortunately the shower was running cold,no bath...cold at nighr time...Good breakfast..All in All, not to bad for what we paid...shower needs addressing.

Good value for money
The hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean and functional, and the bed was reasonably comfy, which for the price point I think represents good value for money. The location is also very good - a couple of minutes from Finsbury Park. The road is very loud and the windows are not very sound proof, so if you’re a light sleeper you may struggle with that.
Perfectly adequate for what we wanted, clean, tidy and friendly.
Only couple of improvements I would suggest is if you don't supply toiletries (shower gel/shampoo) then advise before the stay, a curtain covering the window in room 15 would have helped as light came through the blinds at 6am, and adjust the door closers to slow down the last bit of the close as the neighbouring room doors banged. But would recommend it for a good base for arsenal and London.
I booked this for a three night stay in London. I've read mixed reviews about the property for me I had fantastic experiance and stay.
I had a small basic single room and ensuite, but sufficent space for myself. The room were cleaned daily, to a high standard and linens replaced daily. I
There is areas of ware and tear but for me its only asethics. I will issues with sounds, I live i. Old house myself and sometimes I can hear my neigbours, possibly not best place for light sleepers. I sleep like alog.
They even include a freshly cooked English breakfast woth great coffee. A Great selctions of continental breakfast options . The lasses are very friendly and helpful.
The 24 hour recpetion and you can required to leave your keys at the property for me, I prefered this again staff very helpful and friendly .
Location is amazing you opposite Finsbury park and about few mins walk from the tube. There plenty of local shops and cafes, including a Lidls. for me always amazing.
I paid about £60/£70 pernight.
You can't even get this price in alot of cheaper cites this for me is gem. I'll be staying again
I would highly recommend.
Nice little room everything worked and very clean. The mattress was very soft though and only one pillow, which wasn't very well filled. But overall very nice place 👌
The Queens is a small budget hotel .. the rooms are small but always very clean .. staff are very friendly and helpful .. if your looking to spend lots of time in your hotel the queens is not for you …if you want a good base on a budget to explore London the Queens is ideal . 3 min walk to Finsbury Park Tube , 20 mins to Emirates Stadium . I’ve stayed many times and will certainly continue to do so
