Easy to find, receptionist friendly and welcoming. Room - beds comfy- bathroom rather small and if a larger person would struggle to shut door.
Breakfast - basic, did not cater for dairy free or any dietary requirements when asked for coconut or soya milk.
Cooked breakfast poor- beans cold, toast cold, when asked the staff member she just looked very confused and didn’t understand. Also I didn’t have a knife and asked 3 times over a ten minute period and finally went into the kitchen to ask for a knife as the same staff member didn’t bring one although each time she seemed to give the opinion she would go and get one. Not worth the money paid - very disappointing and will not be back
… a well kept, clean hotel with lovely staff and a very good breakfast. The room and bathroom were very small and might have been a challenge for a longer stay.. but it was quite manageable for 3 nights and such good value for money
Wasn’t very clean shower wasn’t working. Pictures obviously didn’t do it justice damage undercarriage of car in order to find parking but they don’t mention you have to mount a kerb on bus lane just to get in. Beds were awfully springy with food left over along side of bed really looking to get a refund on this. Really awful but service was great.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and close to tube station! Free luggage storage.
Only downside, there is no lift and steep stairs at entrance to property.
The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful very good. The hotel is convenient for travelling into London. The breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice.
Although the room was very small, it was clean and comfortable. The dining room was a bit too small for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was a bit on the small side
Really happy with this little find of a hotel, welcoming entrance off the main road, staff friendly and informative. Comunal areas of property smelled really fresh and clean, there wasn't that 'hotel smell' room likewise very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, continental and full English, breakfast staff equally as helpful. 3 min walk from Finsbury Park tube and loads of shops and facilities nearby, supermarket and eateries. So much so ive booked again for May 25 for another visit to London for a similar music event I'm attending. Thank you.
I think this property was a bit overrated at 8/10. It was well managed but the room was not fantastic. Old carpet, a TV where most channels had a blind-person narrator interjecting every 30 seconds, no A/C or temp control and a slightly weird front desk key policy. Plus, the alarm faulted in the room at 3 AM and I had someone knocking on my door to check on things. Generally everything was a bit cramped and on the basic side.
Really nice, friendly staff and very clean rooms, serviced daily. Close to the Underground and opposite Finsbury Park, near to shops and restaurants. It also felt safe, with a 24 hour front desk, which is important for me as a woman travelling alone. Room was a little noisy and airless though - but there was a fan. Toiletries were just a couple of bars of soap but tea and coffee in the room was nice. Breakfast was a little patchy (they were very busy as Taylor Swift was in town!), although I was very grateful that they opened early for me as I had to check out before 7:30 today. A good, cheap and cheerful option for Central London. Book for no-frills but a really lovely warm welcome!
