The reception and restaurant staff were great. We didn’t have the room cleaned after our 1st night for some reason but not a huge deal, we managed without. The room was v average. And no bedside lights. Only the bright overhead lights which made the night time awkward - I was staying with my six year old Grandaughter, I had to sit in darkness to avoid disturbing her sleep with the bright overhead lights, Also, the bathroom design was crazy - such a large hand basin for a tiny bathroom - manoeuvring past the sink to use the toilet was a bit of a squeeze. All that aside, the hotel was clean and bedding good quality. Breakfast was good and all staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Finally, the location of the hotel was perfect for us with Warren St underground service being a v short walk away.

Best advert for self catering apartment in London!
I never really put much store in the negative reviews but I wish I had read those around 6-7 score. They accurately summed up everything we found. Breakfast was good and hotel was clean and some of the staff very helpful but there ends the positives. So for around £300 per night you get Safe not working. Not fixed despite asking Hairdryer sounding terrible and eventually smoking Aircon loud and not cooling Bathroom a small gymnast wouldn't fit into No coffeemaker but a kettle and instant coffee Aggressive and rude attitude by the Night Reception Manager albeit the Day Manger ws very helpful Icemaker not working in the lobby and then fridge not working Rooms very tired The surrounding area did not feel safe and I would not have liked to have been alone. Can't really blame the hotel for that! It seems that the hotel replies to all reviews but then don't actually act on that feedback as the issues raised in previous reviews were all of the above. It all seems to be based on refurbishment due to happen well they are obviously not spending any money on maintenance as a result So I would give this one a miss on a visit as there are much better for the same price out there

The hotel is a little tired, it’s shame as it clearly was a lovely building.we were in an annexe across a bridge on level 3 which overlooks a small park. The bar did not have any draft beer when we returned at 10.30pm. They did not seem interested in serving us.
