Hotel is old and needs a complete refresh; carpets are ripped in places and tiles cracking; just not kept up well. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the air system seemed to work well to keep the room cool and the windows open. The location is what you are paying for at this hotel. It is right in Leister Square in the heart of theater district and behind the National Gallery. Picadilly is a stone throw away as is Strand. From that standpoint it was a win.

We stayed for one night in London and highly recommend the hotel. Great location, although is a very busy central area, the hotel was quiet and great. The staff were so welcoming, and we got checked in very quickly. We will be staying again! Thank you!

My only criticism was my single bed mattress had gone down on one side but reported it to reception and they got maintenance to look at. Phone chargers didn’t all work. Nothing that ruined our stay, I still had a good nights sleep and really enjoyed our stay

We stayed to catch a nearby show and celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, offering a complementary drink on arrival. Our room overlooked Leicester Square, and offered a surprisingly quiet escape from the hustle of central London. The breakfast was a little lacklustre, but this didn’t dampen an otherwise great stay.

The air conditioning in the room wouldn't cool the room down. I talked to front desk and they sent a maintenance to fix it. He couldn't, so he just gave me a fan, which really did nothing.
