Hotel staff were excellent , from reception team, concierge to the cleaning staff. The hotel is in a good location. My only issue was the level of noise from the streets outside. The hotel is very old and could greatly benefit from secondary glazing. We struggled to sleep due to the traffic noise

We really enjoyed our stay overall. Location is excellent and service was great. Good breakfast and quieter interior rooms, though still lots of doors slamming and the bathroom took some getting used to with the design. But this is a good quality hotel in a great neighborhood.

Difficult nights sleep

Due to the noise in the room from water running through pipes in the walls and the metal fire escape on the outside of the building leading to lots of noise throughout the night on both nights meant i had to out white noise on to sleep. Not ideal and would likely avoid staying here in the future

Not a good stay other than location. Told I’d receive early check-in to not get this when I arrived. Hair dryer and kettle did not work and took over an hour and 2 phone calls to sort. The glasses in the room were dirty, had make up all over them as did the towels. Noisy as well, could hear someone in the room next door coughing all night all the outside noise. The handwash and soaps also did not smell quite right. Wouldn’t stay again

DO NOT stay here

I would NOT recommend this property. The hotel lacks an understanding of basic traveler needs such as good shower, hot water, and a clean room. Upon arrival my room was ‘ready’ but when I walked in I realized how dirty the floor was. I asked for housekeeping to come back into the room to run the vacuum. The shower head did not work and had to be replaced late into the night. The water pressure from the shower head was absolutely horrendous. I complained but was told it is normal for the area. Not sure what that meant.

So my site preference is always high floor away from the lift and stairs, as i am a light sleeper. Not sure why my preferences were not considered. For those who know, i had room 114, 1st floor, on the landing (banging door juat outside) directly near the lift, just suxh a shame. Also as a vip member of this booking site (if that is actually a thing) but wasnt offered an upgrade. The staff were friendly and respectful.

Nice hotel pity about the constant vibrating sound

Nice hotel in good location. Check in easy and room available before check in time. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom good have been cleaner. Main issue was a constant dull vibrating sound which resonated through the pillownwhen getting to sleep.

Good place to stay

The hotel was convenient and clean. Would recommend staying there if you’re wanting somewhere central. It was only a few minutes from Tottenham Court Road Underground station.
