The hotel was not in a very good neighborhood. The private room has a very small bathroom and odd they charge for bath towels. Been too many hotels and never heard of this practice.

Would not recommend

I am not one to often leave bad reviews. I have stayed here for 6 nights overall and it has not been pleasant. Despite there being '24 hour security' no one seems to be monitoring who comes and goes- someone could easily pretend to be a guest and access the sleeping corridors/ shared bathrooms. Lots of older men staying on their own- so as a young female I’ve had a lot of encounters feeling uncomfortable/ being stared at during my visit. The lift is broken/ not in use so have to haul suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor where the whole corridor smelled of poo as apparently the plumbing was broken, and the room had not been cleaned. Moved to a room on the first floor which also did not smell good, there is no ventilation and old windows… mould on the ceiling of the bathroom, no drain cover in the shower. The shower temperature wouldn’t change due to limescale build up, sinks are so small you can barely lean to use it. There aren't many hostel amenities- no cooking facilities or even a kettle. Water is sometimes provided in a pitcher that tastes a day old. Only one or two hairdryers shared across the whole hostel you have to ask for to use. If you are looking for a cheap place with fairly easy access to central London and are only staying a night, this place might be for you. But as a female solo traveller I would not recommend it.

Not too bad.

It's a nice hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room itself was nice and tidy. There weren't any major issues, just no air conditioning that affected my sleep, but not a big deal. Overall, 8/10

I found the hotel good because it’s practical easy to reach the center 2-3 buses can drop you in the London center within 5-7 minutes 3-4 stops. So it’s ok to pass night or two there Regards

Excellent, the waiting/reception area is full of people making the place feel vibrant and the mattress, linens, and pillows were all clean. I gave it 4/5 stars because some of the bathrooms were pretty dirty. People would leave trash out of the bins and or leave clothes around without picking up after themselves. Perhaps not a reflection of the staff themselves, but I wish something could’ve been done there. Otherwise the reception/hosts were incredibly receiving and very friendly.

The staff on my checking sat night was unpolity, no even good evening,or hello! I stated it was my first time in this hostel and I didn't the way around, He ignored me and didn't give instructions to get in the room ( another customer helped me), and most of all,he didn't give a lower bed as requested weeks ago in my booking. I explained a have mobility issues and can't clime the ladder to the top bed. I asked to this member of staff and he rudely said he could not do anything as the accomodation was fully booked however,when I awake this morning I noticed that there was a lower bed which was free all night. Not very nice.staff not very helpful,very unwelcome!!

Was a very odd stay. The staff were not paying attention and there was also a lack of cleanliness in the public areas especially the bathrooms and showers. Rooms were also incredibly crammed and over heated!

This place should NOT be allowed to operate. It is completely uninhabitable. I booked RestUp for its Central London location, but it turned into a nightmare. Despite booking a 10-bed mixed dorm with a private bathroom, I was shoved into a cramped 12-bed room where I couldn’t even stretch my legs. The space between beds is so tight, I hit my head multiple times—seriously concerned I got a concussion. There’s ZERO ventilation. No AC, no fans, and most windows are sealed shut. I nearly suffocated in the summer heat and was told by staff that they could only crack open one tiny window. I explained I had breathing issues and asked for a better-ventilated room—flat-out denied. I ended up in the common area at night, only to find no air circulation there either. Luggage storage? A joke. Despite their website claiming free storage is available, I was charged £5 to store my bag BEFORE check-in. Never experienced this in any other UK hostel. It felt like a blatant cash grab. The rooms are disgusting. Dirty sheets, hair on the bedding, weird odors, bugs crawling around, and to top it off, mosquito bites and a clogged drain that took 2+ hours to clear. And yes, this happened TWICE—I booked here again only because everything else was full. Outlets? Barely work. My adapter only fit in a couple, and there were no USB ports anywhere. Keycards randomly stop working. Dining area was always closed, despite their claim of serving meals. They even changed the breakfast policy overnight and st

A decent effort had been invested in to keeping a decent standard, a little more attention to the shower would help, it breaks/ cuts off occasionally. And you have to keep pushing the shower button while you have soap in your eyes-- it is very uncomfortable and annoying. Shower should be free flowing not cutting off !
