The Good: Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bed, great shower, very close to Paddington, so getting there from Heathrow on the Elizabeth Line is super easy and quick.
The Not So Good: No safe room to hold luggage, just a space under the stairs with a 'leave at your own risk' sign. I got in way before 2pm check in time, and didn't feel safe leaving my case, so had to drag it around London with me for 4 hours. Room 3 had no window, like a little cell, and was really hot. The AC didn't work the first night so sleep wasn't great, but Danny(?) on reception was very friendly and helped fix it ASAP in the morning. Take earplugs, the building is quite creaky and you can easily hear other guests stomping about.
All in all, not bad. Just be aware you're paying for location, not amenities. I'd stay again if I got a good deal on a rate.
