I’ve stayed at this property several times for work, pre -Covid. This was the first time I’ve stayed for personal travel and since the pandemic. The location is good. Kensington has good proximity to many attractions and it’s great to be close to Hyde Park. However, the staff wasn’t as attentive as past visits, there was also a lot going on at the hotel, leading it to be somewhat chaotic. Internet and WiFi constantly dropped and when I mentioned this upon check out ( in addition to my concerns about the service and chaos in the hotel) I was told they were upgrading their system but no concessions were offered. This isn’t the response I would have expected for a repeat customer at a 5 star hotel.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I chose it because of the area in which it is located. The location could not be better for those who like a bit of a local feel, since it is located in a residential part of the city. The room was well appointed with a view of the park. The breakfast was good, but not outstanding. Having said that, I would definitely stay there during my next trip to London.

We stayed at the Royal Gardens for 5 days. Wonderful breakfast included with your room and great proximity to many places in Kensington . We could walk to Royal Albert Hall, Museums and Kensington Palace. The hotel was right next to Kensington gardens so we enjoyed walking each day. Fabulous staff and great hotel. Highly recommend!!

The hotel didn’t have an area to grab a drink and relax. The piano bar should be open every day even if there’s no live music. The staff were wonderful! Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Centrally located so walkable to many areas and restaurants.
