Lovely hotel

We had a lovely time. We went to London to see The cirque du soleil.The hotel is very central and very clean, ideal if you want to stay central with eatery around and a underground a few steps away.We definitely come back. Lovely staff as well.

Underground trains disturb sleep

My small ground floor room was clean and reasonably fresh. But I cannot recommend the hotel, for the rumbling noise and vibrations of regular late night and early morning underground trains is far too disturbing. I booked here for a decent night's sleep which I didn't get.... Aarhh!

Was ok for one night.. just be for warned there is no elevator and the stairs are steep, uneven and if you go to the top floor the stair case becomes very narrow.. ok for going up with backpack but very difficult with suitcases. Beds were clean and for the most part comfortable.

The property needs some updating in furniture, pains and the sealing of the rooms needs to be cleaned as there were old dust, but the room and bathroom itself was clean. The breakfast was the best. Staying in room was not comfortable as the underground was laud and shaking the window and made noise, which I really couldn’t have a good sleep there.

Great London base

The hotel is an excellent place to use as a base for London as very close to Paddington station and allows for luggage to be stored before check in and after check out. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and extremely comfortable. We did not eat at this hotel so cannot comment on food.

Amazing area. Plenty of indian and Turkish restaurants near by. Managed to get a private room at an amazing price. had a weird interaction where I was woken up from my sleep and asked if I was making noise/ heard a noise. kind of off-putting but decent stay otherwise.

the hotel is about 5 minutes walk to paddington station. fastfood and coffee shop are also within 5 minutes walk. however, the hotel has no elevator so i have to carry my two 50-pounds luggages from the street to lobby then from lobby second floor where my room is located. i felt helpless during my stay there

Economy exacts a price.

My "room" was apparently once a stair landing. The door was 2" lower than my head. My knees sitting on the toilet were in the bedroom. The mirror had a sticker that read, "Non Potable Water" next to a water glass. The radiator has cold water in it. I asked for heat. They turned it on for ten minutes. The exterior looks nice.
