Fantastic location right next to Paddington station. Direct tube lines to the city and Heathrow. Downstairs room was a little warm in July and if we opened the window city noises were a bit much for comfortable sleep. Friendly and helpful staff. A good choice for budget conscious traveler for good location and one of few hotels that offered sleeping accommodations for four.

The property is well situated close to the rail station and a good selection of cafes and restaurants. The staff were polite, patient and extremely helpful. The tea pantry was a novel, well appointed idea but, as an elderly tea fanatic, I would have loved a wee kettle in my room!

Over-priced, adequate room

For a deluxe double room, there was very little space. The shower room was very small, with quite a step down into the main room, which felt unsafe. There was no air-conditioning, although an electric fan was provided. No tea/coffee facilities in the room, a coffee machine (chargeable) and kettle downstairs...a lot of stairs, no lift. A budget hotel, with over-priced rooms, but convenient for Paddington station and Hyde Park

Booked this hotel and after reading some reviews was expecting something terrible! It actually was far from that, it’s small it’s basic and it perfectly served our needs for one night while going to a concert at Hyde Park. Great location lots to do around, just don’t get the bad reviews!

Pros: The staff are great. the location is great. the bed was comfortable. Cons: The staircase is so loud you will be woken up every time someone walks on it. The doors to the rooms have poorly made locks that slam shut when you close the door which will always wake you up. Internal heat was on in the building despite it being summer, making the room hotter than it was outside.

Fine, but no frills.

Pros: Clean, renovated room, great location near Paddington Station and situated in highly walkable area that is less than a mile from Marylebone, Kensington, Notting Hill, etc. Cons: 6th floor walk up, no AC.
