Wonderful

The staff were excellent - at all levels. Initial welcome was friendly and efficient and housekeeping was first class. Rooms lovelyu and clean. Only issue we had was that the first room was full of "characterful" eaves but also angles and low ceilings which would have been fantastic for smaller guests but for a 6ft 2 big lad with only one eye was asking for trouble which I then duly got! Took a really bad fall on a slippy carpet when twisting and turning/manoeuvring around the angles.
Reception were however once again brilliant and changed us to a more standard shaped room with a walk-in shower which was ideal - although bed and room itself were smaller, it suited us much better. They also fitted in with our movements and meant that we could leave it until returning to the hotel in the evening before having to do the switch.
Overall a fantastic stay with amazingly helpful staff. Would have no hesitation in staying here again/recommending to a friend.
Very friendly staff. Great location. Nice room in terms of size, but the carpet and also the armchairs in the room need refurbishment - or at least a thorough cleaning.

Liked: Cleanliness
Was ok but we were disappointed with the size of the room with also no USB ports to charge phones.
We had tea making facilities but no milk which reception refused to help.
The restaurant was too small and couldn’t cater for us so we ended up eating in town.
Breakfast was ok but the waiter was bathing in BO.
Would I go back…. No

Disliked: Staff & service
Very disappointed with the breakfast on the first morning, staff did not seem interested in serving or asking us if we wanted some toast or a cooked breakfast, ran out of croissants and were told it would take 20min for some more, walked out in the end, won’t be coming back unfortunately.
When we arrived to our room it was honestly so cold, the thermostat was set to 16.8 even though it was very cold outside. Also this room was literally upstairs in the roof making it even colder. I spoke with reception and they said they would sort it from there. We left it a while and nothing. I changed the thermostat to 28, but nothing happened gor around 10 minutes and warm air started coming through. But it took ages for the room to heat up. The bed sheets were so cold it was almost painful to get into bed. I spoke with the receptionist in the mornings, asking why a cold room on a cold day, was left with a thermostat set at 16, it should be made warm for customers when they arrive.
Christmas 2nt stay. Small hotel with Friendly staff. Very comfortable bedrooms and a great shower. We had lunch in the hotel on Christmas eve and dinner on Christmas day. Both very disappointing.
Food was luke warm and service was poor even though the restaurant was empty Christmas eve. Parts of the food order missed on both days. Had to ask for salt & pepper. Forgot drinks, coffee and mince pies never arrived. No vegetables with one main course on Christmas day. Christmas dinner was over cooked, dry and luke warm.
Overall food and service was very poor.
The room was very good, spacious, clean and with perfect temperature. The staff is friendly and present 24/7.
Can get a little noisy in the night as rooms are closer but nothing problematic.
All in all a great place to stay.
Very close to the bus stop, train station and other restaurants.

We loved that it was unique. Loved the Christmas Decorations. And our room was toasty
Wanted a hotel near the smallest pub in the world, the Dove, down the street. St. Pauls was comfortable, old school, with really nice people. The restaurant is a little weak, but hey, it is England. I think that, if you want to be in Hammersmith, you can't do much better. Decent value; would go back .
Saw it was nearby to the Lyric Hammersmith so I booked. So glad I did. Very beautiful room with perfect amenities. Desk staff were helpful in answering questions, lending a charger and amending my tea time reservation as plans changed. Would stay again if going to the area.
Second time staying here this year and again it didn’t disappoint. Didn’t get as great a room as before but it was large for London and spotless apart from the carpet.
The staff are lovely and the bar excellent. It is the best value for money hotel I’ve stayed in London, would highly recommend.
