We were in a basement room which was dated but clean. However there was a drain or a pipe outside that dripped all night and we had very little sleep. Make sure you are not in room 42

Great location and staff, missed promised room
second stay here, staff and location are terrific. I had broken my ankle and asked and was promised the bottom level twin room but on arrival was told it had already been assigned. New room had was up steep stairs plus stairs INSIDE the room to get to bathroom. I had a message thread which had acknowledged my request.

Service was excellent. Room was small but comfortable. Carpet has seen better days and curtains were falling off the rails. The shower head needed cleaning and there was a very unpleasant smell of drains in the bathroom. We had to keep the door closed. We were able to leave our luggage safely which was great. The friendliness of the staff outweighed the negatives!

Good hotel very close to the Opera house and Covent Garden. Decent sized room for London and very quiet at night. Would have liked a lift as our room was on the top floor but otherwise was very comfortable

It is worth... no complaints
Very good hotel in Covent Garden. I was in the area for business and the location worked just fine. The room was standard small room (as all London hotels) so I knew what I was getting and I can't really complain.

Great position
V friendly and helpful staff. The hallways and stairs and room were a bit cramped. Decor and carpets looking a little tired. All clean, though and perfectly workable. Position close to Covent Garden is amazing.

Value for money
I dropped off my bag at reception before heading off to meet friends. The location is difficult to beat, certainly in my case as everything I wanted to see and do was within 15 minutes walk. On my return to check in my bag had already been taken to my room so check in took less than 10 seconds. The room was small but I have paid a lot more for less space in London. It also had a window, not a given in London. My main criticism is that the room was not quite warm enough and I would not have enjoyed it at all if the weather had been colder. The bed was firmer than I am used to but that is just a matter of preference. The bathroom was better than many I have seen in London hotels, it was spotlessly clean and the shower very hot so I had to turn it right down.

An older hotel, could use some updates, but staff was very friendly and helpful, check in and out was a breeze. Price was excellent, and located in the center of everything, especially restaurants. Tube a few blocks and Charing's Cross to Waterloo Station easily walkable. Would definitely stay again.

Nice little hotel and sort of cosy room. Walls are very thin, so I was lucky that the neighborhood was quiet, but hotel staff talked loudly during the night and woke me up as my room was just behind the reception.

The property is located in a nice area, walking distance to plenty of restaurants and Covent Garden markets. Be advised that this is a room only hotel, not a grand boutique hotel. I felt as if I was sleeping in someone's bedroom. My friend and I had a twin room and it was clean, but felt small and too close to the room next to us as we could hear everything. It wasn't the vibe we expected, but thankfully they were nice enough to hold our bags while we did some exploring after checking out. The girl at the front desk was very nice and friendly.

This is a small quirky property steps away from Covent Garden opera theater and all the restaurants shops theaters etc that Covent garden offers. It’s also walking distance to Leicester square, Piccadilly circus, and Oxford Street. Great location. It’s an old building and doesn’t have an elevator so I was grateful staff helped me with my luggage. Great stay!
