Lovely Stay and Great Location

Our stay was amazing! Stayed 6 nights and the room was clean, spacious enough, and comfortable. The location is great! Right by a beautiful park, minutes from the British Museum, and just about a 20-30 minute walk into Covent Garden, Soho, and Piccadilly. It is also a couple of minutes walk to the Piccadilly tube, a 15-minute walk to Kings Cross station, and you can get to any bus stop and other tube lines in less than 20 minutes. There are pubs nearby, coffee shops, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the stay easy. My one complaint is that the Wi-Fi service is not the best, so if you have out-of-country service, getting a connection might be rough. But overall, a great place to stay, and I will definitely be staying here the next time I'm in London!

Nice hotel in great location

This was a nice hotel. I enjoyed the room, the breakfast, and the Atrium restaurant. The little shop near the front desk was convenient too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great staff. A couple of minutes away from a tube stop. Clean rooms. Close to a Tesco for snacks. 10 minutes walk to the British Museum. We were stranded in London due to the Heathrow shut down for 4 extra days. We knew we would rebook at the President Hotel.

The President Hotel is located right beside Russell Square, about 2 minutes walk from the tube station. There are a few really good cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as a small supermarket. The hotel itself is fine - clean, safe and comfortable. The rooms themselves are pretty tiny (I was in a single room) but do the job. The hotel could be doing with some more in the way of social space, as there are really just a few seats in the restaurant. My room was on floor 7, which only had one lift, which reminded me of times long gone (super slow with a concertina metal door). :)

Very good stay.

The walls had some damage. The windows and walls needed more soundproofing. Fitted sheets instead of flat sheets would be greatly appreciated, they kept bunching and wrinkling since they were flat. More amenities would have been nice too but the overall location and accommodation was very good. We will stay there again and recommend it to others. The water refill dispenser was appreciated.

Hotel is well situated and easy to get around London. The room was clean and small. Soind however travels through the walls and we had noisy neighbours who played loud music late with conversations carrying through walls with language inappropriate for children. So not great for sleep after a long day of travel. The shower also flooded the bathroom as the drain was not functioning well and the shower barrier does not cover the length of the shower area. Staff fixed the drain issue.
