Excellent location. Comfortable clean rooms however too warm with no way to adjust temperature. Shower very awkward to use however walk in is appreciated. Staff very good and responded quickly but unable to resolve heat regulation but were quick to resolve broken bathroom door handle.

Stayed here due to having to go to near by hospital for an operation was close to hospital reason for choosing this place Got here and went to room to freshen up to find no hot water and low pressure thought might be because I checked in late so when to bed hardly slept due to excessive noise all night long and room so hot. Woke at 6am thinking could get a decent shower again no hot water or pressure spoke to reception who said they no there is issue but if I need to say anything email it absolutely the most disgusting customer service I’ve ever received leaving for operation without even being able to freshen up avoid this hotel at all cost

First, the location of the hotel is fabulous. One block from the Russell Square State on the Piccadilly Line made it super convenient from Heathrow and around the city. Room is basic, comfortable, clean. There were a couple of strange things. First, the rooms are really hot and you have to sign a form in Reception to get someone from maintenance to come unlock the windows. Second, while the form for laundry said that you could get same-day service if you sent it out before 11 AM, I was told that it was too late at 9:15 AM when I inquired about it at the Reception. They made a call and told me that they would do it for me. I came back to the hotel after theater expecting laundry on my bed but it wasn't there—instead a card telling me to pick it up at Reception. Reception told me it was locked in the Housekeeping Dept and that dept. was closed for the day. I asked if someone could go get it and was told that they didn't have a key. I asked why it hadn't been left in my room. I was told that I would have to have left a deposit in advance for that (No one told me that when I inquired about same-day service). I stood my ground. Someone eventually went to retrieve it from Housekeeping so I guess that there was a key. The experience was pretty annoying and left a blot on what would otherwise have been a very pleasant 7-night stay.

even though a big hotel managed well.staff seemed to work hard especially poor man at breakfast booking people in.One complaint person of 4 sending one person to queue and the rest working past the breakfast queue.Otherwise well done no complaints

Good location and Russell Square tube is very close. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as grocery stores. Walking distance to the British Museum. I was originally givn a room across from the housekeeping room which was loud dirty and a cold draft from it. Workers using it had little respect for guests even after 11:00 p.m. The workers should also clean the entrance to the rooms better as the black strip were very dirty.I did find a large bug on the wall behind the towels. The hotel look a like it was recently renovated but wondered why there was pieces of carpet missing. The room and bed was very good the most comfortable I had in a month of traveling. I would stay here again rather than booking an unknown hotel.

There no air conditioning units in this hotel. They only give you a small fan and let you crack your window for minimal air flow. They did not provide wash cloths, either.
