Stayed one night as at an event at the Royal Albert Hall; perfect location near to Albert Hall. Hotel was perfect for our needs, all staff were very helpful and service to a high standard. Only minor issue, one member of staff on the bar on a Friday night with a major event at the Albert Hall; service was very slow and a number of guests gave up waiting for a drink.

This room was perfect. Overlooking the back of the hotel, it was very quiet. It certainly resembled the room we had booked via the photo, unlike the last time. It was spacious, with a good sized bed. We both slept very well. The staff, as always, were magnificent.

Fabulous central position for the Royal Albert Hall, went to Da Mario’s Kensington for dinner- 5 min walk, Natural History Museum and 10 min walk to Gloucester Road tube with direct trains to Covent Garden, Leicester Sq and Trafalgar Sq. staff are fabulous. Breakfast delicious too and quite relaxed!

Excellent value for the money!
The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Gloucester Underground station. My room wasn’t ready when I got there (I arrived early) but they will check your luggage. A short walk away, there are places to eat, a Starbucks and a very nice pub (Gloucester Arms). I ate there a couple of times and the food was very good. When I checked in, they ask for a CC and put on a hold for $100 which is a security deposit. I loved my room!! The hotel was recently renovated and everything is controlled by electronic panels throughout the room, e.g., lights, a/c, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom was large and everything worked fine. The hotel is within walking distance to The Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. When you check out, they refund the security deposit right away. I highly recommend The Queens Gate and would definitely stay there again!!

Loved my overnight stay. It was quiet walkable and very comfortable. My only issue was that the restaurant closes at 10.30 and I returned at 11pm! However I will definitely stay here again.
