Very comfortable and clean. Weve stayed here several times. The only downside is and its a very small one is the standard of the jams and preserves at breakfast. They no longer provide Tiptree, but instead it comes in a dispenser and resembles fruit puree.

Service from concierge and reception good on the whole although concierge on arrival made no effort to hide his impatience with my parents slowness to respond to his questions. Corridor and room both highly claustrophobic and overheated. The furnishings and fixtures were well maintained and updated throughout, however the hotel smelled strongly of sewage in lower ground level. Breakfast is cheap, poor quality, and no effort is made to hide the cost cutting. We expect coffee to be offered and served at the table for a hotel of this claimed calibre. The Dowe Egbert machine coffee from concentrate is cheap and foul. Actual coffee should be served as standard at breakfast, this was hideous. Eggs need to be free range and offered in more ways other than fried. The breakfast provision was none other than underwhelming and first level basic. There was no wow of fresh fruit, smell of baked breads, anything cooked to order, french pastries that looked appealing, kefir, yoghurts, honeycomb. Literally lucky to find a slice of crunchy melon and a sliver of grapefruit. Highlighted by Kensington’s great cafes that surround this hotel, the shortcomings were stark. Plastic wrapped cheap biscuits need to be removed from the tea tray, again better to serve nothing than contribute negatively to the environment with this! Overall, the hotel’s provisioning left a bad taste in more ways than one. £1.20 breakfast cost per person on a £280 room tariff is daylight robbery.

The bed was super comfortable and the location is amazing right next to the museums. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and there was good value for money. The heating in the bathroom was perfect for a hot shower after a long and cold day, especially the floor heating. My only comment is that there were stains on the bedsheets and the bathroom was dusty once we checked in. Also the pool area has a daily charge and was incredibly small and crowded which was disappointing. The concierge was not able to help us reserve at the spa and when we went there to book, the receptionist was unhelpful and told us he couldn’t help us as we had to call another number directly and as my phone was not roaming, we didn’t end up booking. Also we couldn’t sit where we wanted at breakfast, even though there were some seats that were empty but the waiter told us that those tables had been cleaned and that we can’t use them. We wanted to sit my the sunshine next to the window but instead we’re sat in the corner. Regardless it’s a nice hotel and I would stay again.

The room was a good size and clean. The included breakfast was good and I particularly appreciated the gluten free section with a separate toaster. The only disappointment was finding out after booking that the swimming pool was an extra cost.

Excellent stay- only issue with Expedia is misleading VIP bonus; states free drink pp per room, but it’s actually one drink per room per stay. Also, there isn’t a free fitness room as advertised; have to pay to use facility in adjacent building. When looking for a hotel, gym was important and I entered that in my filters. Just something to be aware of.

Where do I start no care from the staff no upgrade the bar smells of kippers they got the drinks wrong the hotel really needs a make over at least breakfast was ok we had this generator noise all through the night then to top it off I got a electric shock from the melted lead on the hair dryer we called reception to report the assistant manager came up we explained what happened he offered a free drink before we check out 🙄 and no other offer of any compensation

A fabulous hotel in a great location
The Rembrandt exceeded all our expectations. In an outstanding location for exploring London it is very reasonably priced. The rooms are large and while some of the furnishings are a little dated they are comfortable and good quality. The bedding quality is superb. The icing on the cake is that the staff were brilliant. They were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. This is now our "go-to" hotel for London.

Fantastic stay! Check in was so welcoming. Concierges went over and above with great recommendations. Breakfast was good but could have been more varied. Location can't be beat and housekeeping was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!
