This was my second time at The Selwyn and I’ll definitely be back! Beautiful hotel, well-appointed quiet room, great night’s sleep, and walkable to all of Richmond’s highlights.

Gorgeous, high end hotel. Great amenities, easy walk to downtown and the beautiful town common. Richmond was a wonderful place to visit with our teen girls from the US. There was some noise audible in the room from doors closing in the hallway, and light came in under the door and from the window overnight. Bed was very comfortable though!

Booked as an overnight after game at Twickenham. Price is the price on weekends like this but really surprised, location the way the building looks and when you walk inside bit of a wow factor. Staff were really nice and polite even I turned up drunk after the game. Breakfast was great but to be honest I did not have much as back in the road to get home. Will stay again on another London trip

The lobby and dining area are very nice. However the rooms are tiny, so small there wasn't enough room for our luggage or to walk around the bed. The bathroom was also tiny with no counter space. Shower was too small for a normal sized person so I have no idea how a larger person would fit in the bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very welcoming and everyone is friendly and willing to help. The location is perfect and just a few mins away from the town. The room was clean and cozy and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Great Selwyn Stay
Nice and convenient property for visiting family. One thing to note, the property has a water softener so all the water is run through that. They also give out large bottles of water for drinking which is nice. The location is tucked away enough from the busier parts of Richmond, however it’s a short 5min walk to the train station. There are multiple grocery stores nearby and Gail’s has good coffee and breakfast.
