Beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. Stayed before an early morning train and the location is ideal for aces to Kings Cross. PS: The sticky toffee pudding was a winner!

Generally nice hotel
Generally, it was a pleasant hotel. We stayed in a junior suite and found the rooms large and light. We found furniture inside, as well as at the terrasse, was uncomfortable, tables in wrong height and/or unpractical from a work perspective. Basic privacy in the bathroom vs. bedroom is non existing, and light dimming is not working, so if you at night take to used the bathroom you certainly will wake up your partner. It seems that the hotel, in its strive to be hip and smart, has disregarded basic requirements of use.

Friendly staff and convenient
The staff were very friendly. It was convenient staying across the street from Kings Cross/St Pancras station as it was a direct line to and from Heathrow. Also our day trip to Paris train was right there. The tube made travel easier throughout the city.

The standard is a hotel that we return to a lot. The location is excellent and the quirkiness great! Improvements would be that water should be complimentary without asking considering the price. There was also a little inflexibly and inflation of price when we asked to stay for another night. This led us to go elsewhere. Valentina was friendly and helpful on reception when we checked in.
