Everything was great apart from the filthy bedroom and bathroom. I found the bath had about 15-20 dark black hairs in it and then the side where the TV was had food all over it. Really didn’t expect this. I wanted to bring my wife here for our wedding anniversary weekend so this was a tester while I was in London for a meeting to see if it was suitable. For such a highly priced hotel I really expected more than a one star bedroom

Another fantastic stay at this hotel, highly recommend, staff are so helpful even allowed us early check in when we asked to leave our bags in locker room they confirmed our room was ready for use so we didnt have to wait until 3pm for check in. Hotel is convenient for plenty of restaurats in walking distance and the tube is closeby too.

Whilst the room was clean, it was very dated and in need of modernisation. I booked a suite so that I could cook and make light meals for myself, the room lacked the basics 1. A plug for the kitchen sink! 2. Any racks in the cooker 3. No wash up liquid in kitchen or tablets for the dishwasher 4. Luxury Toiletries were supposedly included but they were stuck to the wall above the bath so couldn’t be used in the separate shower (my mother was 80 so a walk in shower was necessary). 4. Without the ability to wash cups and glasses the dirty glasses were not collected by room service. Hotel reception were not particularly helpful and didn’t seem to grasp my frustration when I challenged what I was paying for?

Tower Hotel by Thistle

Room was clean. Beddings freshest I've experienced at any hotels. Restaurant a bit pricey but steak was delicious. Great views from room. Best location. Breakfast was a wide variety. Express check in and check out smoothly after I learnt how. Staff helpful and friendly.

Third room Smelt like sewer all the time. Brown liquid oozed out of the toilet handle every time you flushed the toilet. Table broken first room. Toilet broken in second room. They tried to help us but I would not return or recommend this hotel.

Great location and our room had a great view. No fridge, no shower caps, no body lotion. But there was a drawer full of used tissues!! Charming. The air conditioning is not functional. The wooden furniture is scuffed and scraped. Where the mini bar used to be could be turned into storage instead of just screwed shut. The bathroom had mould stains in the grout and sealer. no heated towel rail, can't use the hairdryer in the bathroom. A shower curtain!!!!! The bathrooms need to be redone to start with.
