A terrible experience – we were robbed! We spent four wonderful days in London, enjoying the history and beauty of the city. Sadly, our experience at The Tower Hotel completely ruined our trip. When we arrived home, we realized that some of our clothes had been stolen from our room. I sent an email to the hotel to report the incident, but never received any response. On top of that, the rooms were extremely dirty — far from what you’d expect from a hotel in such a prime location. It’s a real shame that what could have been a perfect vacation ended with us being victims of theft and neglect. The only positive thing I can say is that the location is excellent. But honestly, that’s not enough to make up for what happened.

The room we had was a pleasant surprise considering the age of the hotel. There was a few w&t marks in the room; but generally speaking it was ok. Fortunately the AC in our room was working, which wasn't the case for other that I spoke to. The staff were excellent especially in the Vicinity bar/restaurant, always very helpful. The location of the hotel is it's main selling point

We got a room with a view of tower bridge which was amazing. Hotel staff were pleasant. My only problem was the elevators. You could be waiting 15 minutes for an elevator to come

Old and Tired - the hotel, and me..

The room is very dates, broken down and needs a refurbishing badly. No AC, useless fan. My biggest complaint is the room, and floor smells of cigarettes. However, stunning view and location.

This hotel is amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is stunning and the location is awesome. The only downside to this hotel, and other buildings in the UK,is the absence of air conditioning. When we visited London it was in excess of 32C. The hotel does provide fans and heavy blackout drapery, but it was still stifling throughout the hotel. Overall though, I loved this hotel. Easy walking distance to dining, entertainment, shopping, cultural sights and train stations. Clean, modern rooms and amenities, with nice beds and pillows. Would stay here again!

Hotel with good service and great location

Stayed in this hotel with my brother for 5 nights. It was great - the hotel is very clean, well-serviced, air con works well, desk staff were all very helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is great, right beside Tower Bridge, and nearby Tesco (grocery), Costa (cafe), short walk to Starbucks, Wagamama (Japanese restaurant), and to tube station called Tower Hill.

The hotel is very nice and the view from our room was beautiful. The only complaint was that we were told the rooms had ac but when we arrived we were told they were being maintained and we had only fans in our room. Thankfully it wasn’t too warm while we were there.

Location was great. Staff are very polite. Food services onsite did not have reliable hours however many great cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Low rating was due to lack of air conditioning. They provided a small fan but unable to lower temperature below 23C or approximately 74F. Very warm in room. No refrigerator for medical supplies. Our view was limited however friends traveling with us had a great view of Tower Bridge. We booked together but were on different floors. Close to transportation.

We have stayed in a few other places in London and found the Tower Hotel our favourite. The room was spacious, we had a view of the Thames, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a bathtub - not common for a London hotel. The hotel was easy to get to from the Tube station. We recommend visiting the Tower and plan a full day. The only thing our room could have had was a fridge. We were only staying one night before moving on so it wasn't an issue this time, but for a longer stay we would prefer to have one. There is so much to see in London and this is great location.

Nice hotel and surrounding area. Felt safe and lots of staff on hand. The shower/tub needs updating. It was a procedure getting it to work and not flood the bathroom. Overall a good stay and a wonderful location.
