The property was in a great location, central to all events, what I did not like is that none of the rooms came with the refrigerator and the rooms were all hot and there was no ice machine nowhere

Dated hotel (built in 1970s) still has vintage Do Not Disturb/ Service Needed buttons & Door Bell (which is very cool), but other things, like the doors to the hotel room- need to be maintained (cracks in wood, needs refinishing). Very small room (to be expected in London), but no place for luggage. GIANT TV (no used)- which took up half of the desk space.

The only good thing about this property is the view of bridge - property can add $100 in ADR if a modern renovation is done removing tubs to shower with modern look and better housekeeping

The hotel is desperately in need of updates. The room was clean but everything was worn out .I desperately needs a total update from the plumbing to the furniture. But it was in a fantastic location.

The location and views are amazing. I will say that the rooms need to be updated and not the best. The sink was clogged, the tv reset when changing channels, and the shower is not designed for anyone over 6’ tall (I’m 6’3 and the shower head came to my shoulders. On the other end the restaurants, grounds and the staff were positively AMAZING. If the rooms could be updated then it would automatically jump to a 5 star hotel.

So, my pet peeve is cleanliness. No matter how great a hotel looks on the outside or common areas, my main focus is the room I have to occupy and I'm laser focused on the bathroom. The first thing I noticed was the bathroom was dirty. I could see the dirt build up around the fixtures in the shower so much that I used a wet tissue and was able to wipe it off. The bathroom door was rotting and clearly needs to swap out. The tub and fixtures also need upgrading. Now to my other pet peeve - I like clean rooms. Yes, I'm all for saving the planet and I recycle and drive a hybrid but when it comes to my hotel room, I want it clean everyday. I like to walk into a clean room after a day of sightseeing. I requested my room to be clean. When I came back, the housekeeper was there but only change the towels, empty one trash can and didn't even bother to make the bed. The shower wasn't cleaned, soap was still stuck around the face basin, dirty glasses was still in the bathroom and the bathroom trash was not empty. Women would understand why we would like for the bathroom trash to be emptied - specifically. You get the idea. Utter housekeeping fail. I called the front desk and they did offer to send someone to clean it while I watched but that's not the point. I'm not a supervisor - just a guest expecting good service. Finally, I'll leave this review on a positive note. I was all excited to make this hotel my London go to until the cleaning fiasco. If that improves, I'll be back

View from the room is worth it!
We stayed in London for one night for my birthday. The view of Tower Bridge from the room was amazing. Excellent location, the new bottomless brunch was great with an amazing view. Bed was comfy. Luggage storage was secure. I’d definitely stay again.
