Greated with just pointing to the self check in machines, no welcome or hello. Hotel itself is very tired and dated. Corridors smelled of stale vomit. Room was very basic, our room had no windows that we could see out of or open and the air con didn't work so slept in a hot and stuffy 25° room. Very annoying green ceiling light meant a difficult nights sleep as no way to turn this off. Only positive is it's close proximity to Euston state. 2/10 would not recommend.

By far THE WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in, & have stayed in 300 or so in N America, UK & Europe. Safe doesn’t lock, backed-up plumbing (already like that when I arrived) even after their plumber ‘fixed it,’ WiFi off & on (& think hack was attempted), elevator button didn’t work so elevator didn’t come, at bedside had to unplug lamp to charge phone, low water pressure in shower couldn’t get soap out of my hair-worst of all staff made it clear THEY DO NOT CARE! Don’t bother to call front desk cuz they don’t answer! I had broken foot & when asked what to do for toilet issue I was told to go from my 3rd floor room to lobby then up a flight of stairs. If u don’t drink tea or coffee good luck, I bought a soda elsewhere but had to wait 15 minutes in their ‘cafe’ for to-go cup 1/2 full of ice, also needed ice for swelling in foot (join us in 21st century & provide ice). Were even more problems. Chose it for location by Euston but access is blocked & staff thought me & my broken foot should walk alone at nite thru deserted maze thru construction zone. (I’m female & in my 60’s). Did I mention THEY DO NOT CARE? They were given chances to address all these issues but couldn’t b bothered cuz THEY DON’T CARE! Why their rating is ‘good’ is a mystery! One final thing: THEY DO NOT CARE!!! FYI: I have videos of every 1 of these problems…but of course they don’t care.

Convenient location for access to Euston-Kings Cross St Pancras. Price for a Monday night is competitive. Comfortable and clean. However, the decor is looking a little worn and dated. Helpful staff. Quick check-in and out. Breakfast bar offers a wide range of foods.

The gym was great - very well equipped indeed and to be honest one of the best hotel gyms I've found, certainly in central London. The massive negative for me: I'd booked a Superior Room, but the room didn't actually have any windows! I'd have thought that would be a basic expectation in a Superior Room - some natural light. I'd suggest there should be two tiers of this level of room: Superior Room (no windows) and Superior Room (windows), and the former should be cheaper than the latter. Overall though, not too bad and a decent price for central London. If I go back, it'll be for the gym, not the room!

Hotel was excellent in terms of cleanliness. I liked that it was very close to the Euston train/subway station so it's easy to get anywhere from the Hotel. The only concern I had was that guests and cleaning staff kept coming and going on my floor and the corridor/hallway doors kept slamming so I had a difficult time sleeping from 7am on.

HS2 work drove me insane !

The rooms are good in a whole and I have stayed here a number of times. This visit however was a challenge as the building work for HS2 is going on 24 hours a day and I could barely get any sleep due to the noise and vibrations on the windows etc . It drove me mad and I stayed for two nights with no more than an hour sleep each eve and it really annoyed me . So until the work has stopped or is more limited would I ever consider staying again . Sorry as it’s a great hotel

Bloody HS2 noise all night long

I do stay here quite often as it is a good hotel BUT whilst the work for HS2 is on I had noise all night long and it vibrates the hotel and I go little to no sleep. I am here again this eve and dreading it to be honest. But it’s not the fault of the hotel but I would not be running back until this work is nearing completion which is a shame

expensive for what you get

I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the hotel for the amount that it cost. there was no air con and the room was very hot and noisy with the window open.
