I had an issue with the hotel when they barged into my room claiming there was a fire alarm coming from it, which later turned out to be a false alarm. After meeting with the hotel manager, Ms. Mira, I was compensated with the price of one night refunded to my account, and they also offered me flowers and cake. I would like to add that Ms. Mira is the best part of the hotel, with her kind smile and here very nice word and wonderful spirit. Thank you, Ms. Mira.

The beautiful showers were supplied with shampoo and soap which were obviously positioned by tall persons. Wish you had showers equipped with them for shorter people. Also would have liked a small shelf for personal needs in the shower

The hotel was overbooked so couldn't accommodate us, despite us having booked weeks prior via Hotels.com. Moved us to a different hotel down the road. The only positive is that the lady on reception was very courteous and apologetic.

Booked this hotel for an event in Hyde Park. 3 women in a triple room. Great room, lovely comfortable beds and pillows, spacious and quiet. Complimentary bottles of water provided. My only comment would be that a plastic shower cap would have been useful in the bathroom. Otherwise all excellent.

Thistle London Park Lane provided good convenience to Hyde Park and the subway (Underground) and buses for our week long visit. The staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate a full house. It was a very warm week in July and the room AC struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. A fan was provided and was helpful. Our king bed mattress was not comfortable due to the troughs worn into the sleeping positions. Only one elevator worked during our entire stay. We appreciated the complementary breakfast vouchers given out for not using the housekeeping service during our stay.
