Beautiful, with a few minor niggles

The hotel itself was beautifully fitted out, and in a superb location, and the staff were absolutely lovely. However there were a few niggles that stopped it from being really great. Firstly, the bed was very hard, and the duvet was far too heavy for the weather. The lack of aircon meant that I had to sleep under the duvet cover (not a problem as such, but a separate sheet or lighter cover to lay on top would have been better) but the two combined meant i didn't get a great night's sleep before London marathon. Also, while the market area on the 12th floor, where you could buy food and supplies, was generally very well stocked, they didn't have any toothpaste, which I'd forgotten, so i had to get out of my pyjamas and walk to the nearby supermarket. The TV in my room alsp wasn't working, but to the credit of the team there, they quickly offered me 20% off. Finally, the 12th floor lounge / communal area was beautifully appointed, with a coffee machine and milk, but no tea options. I think if they can iron out these few things, it will be worth a 5 star rating from me!

As a participant in the London Marathon I needed a room that was close to the DLR to enable me to get to Greenwich with as less stress involved as possible. The location of this hotel was perfect. It was also ideal to be able to have a relaxing evening before the big day including being able to cook my own food. The room was excellent with more than enough amenities, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Good accommodation within the Canary Wharf area - approx 10 mins from DLR and Tube network. The rooms have the basics of what you need for self-catering, but Deliveroo etc are very convenient, and of course there are a lot of local eating places.

Lovely staff and amazing stay

We had the most wonderful stay at Vertus Edit Canary Wharf. The part of our stay that really made it special was the wonderful staff. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble , we were always greeted with a smile, and a good morning. We stayed in London to go to see Abba Voyage and we were given lots of information and enthusiasm for the show from one of the gentleman members of staff ....thankyou so much !! The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to restaurants, shops , the tube & DLR, parks and green spaces. We stayed in a 'little studio' which was perfect for 2 people and had everything we needed including a great kitchen. Everything was immaculate. The outdoor spaces are just lovely and the complimentary hot drinks in the shared lounges were a lovely touch. Thankyou everyone at Vertus Edit , we would definately stay again when in London. Our stay was Nice. Just couple of things - even though it was very soothing time, end of April I visited vertus, at night it was very cold in the room, shivering cold. I would recommend to control temperature accordingly and provide slippers or flipflop to protect from cold. I was curious about little studio, it appears to be way too little, barely have any room to move. Otherwise, most of the staffs are okay. One thing I noticed that they do not smile, always in serious mood. Simon was helpful, knowledgeable and Nice. 5 star for him. Thank you.

Well located and comfortable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout, and the facilities were excellent—everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The location is ideal, with easy access to central London via public transport, and perfectly placed if you're attending an event at the O2. Whether you're sightseeing or concert-going, you’re in the right spot. I stayed in one of the studios, which was small but perfectly formed. It had everything I needed for a comfortable self-catering stay, from a well-equipped kitchenette to a cozy living space. On-site facilities were also available for added convenience, and with food shops just around the corner, it made meal prep super easy. Highly recommend for both short and longer stays—great value, excellent service, and a really convenient base in London.

Honestly this was the nicest stay me and my husband have had! The interior was so nice and had everything we needed. Bathroom was beautiful and bright, kitchen was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was near so many shops and restaurants and the train station was super close. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!
