Great hotel! Conveniently located, quiet lovely neighborhood close to good pubs and restaurants, close to Victoria Station and London Underground and Bus, historic Edwardian building. Lovely courtyard, very accommodating 24 hr staff, bar, restaurant, gym, great hotel room with king size bed, elevator. Highly recommend the hotel!

I was informed that the bed would be a king size, but it seemed to be a queen size instead. Additionally, outside noise was quite noticeable in the room, which raised some concerns regarding privacy. However, all the staff members were very friendly.

Great location and service of the staff was top notch. Clean rooms and a nice outside hangout with tables and chairs plus electric heat to enjoy an evening outside.

This hotel is located in a good location, very close to Victoria and St. James tube stations. Very convenient. The reason for the bad rating is this: I stayed 5 nights and only once did the housekeeper come and make my bed and provide clean towels. I arrived early for check in, not expecting the room to be ready, but found the woman working at the front desk to be rude and condescending. I paid for breakfast during my stay but was unable to take advantage of the breakfast one morning due do an early activity that I had planned. I addressed this with the front desk and was told that I needed to complete a form so that a to go breakfast could be prepared. I completed the form but no breakfast was prepared for me that day. I was told that I could not get a refund since I booked my stay through Expedia. The manager was very apologetic but I found the rest of the front desk staff to be lacking in customer service. The elevator was out of service during most of my stay, making it difficult to go up and down the stairs with luggage. I will stay somewhere else the next time I am in London.

Property is nice and friendly staff. <15 minutes walk from Big Ben and to Victoria station to take the tour busses. They offer breakfast for a fee and there is one restaurant at one side of the building and there are other restaurants around in that area. We stayed in the annex building and had to walk around inside to get in and out. The only elevator in the annex building was not working and they didn’t fix it for more than two days. They said, waiting for more parts!!! We stayed in 4th floor. Though the concierge desk helped us to carry the luggage, it was tiresome to climb up and down after long days walking around London. Though issues like this happen, I am surprised that they couldn’t fix it for more than two days! Other than that the hotel was a great plays to stay. The staff was very helpful. We arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, they tried to get us the room little early, as soon as the room was cleaned. I would recommend this hotel for families.

Lovely little gem!

Lovely hotel in a quiet location with great views. In fact it was amazing how quiet it was given that’s its walking distance from Victoria Station. Would definitely consider staying again in the near future

Staff were professional and friendly, the room was a reasonable size, very clean and the beds were comfortable, there was always hot water and sufficient tea/coffee making facilities. We only had bar snacks which were good quality. Happy to recommend.

Definitely not a 4-star hotel. The room was good and clean and the location is great - close to Parliament and Buckingham Palace. No fridge in the room and no drawers. The hotel is old and The staff was not very experienced. My room lost heating the first night in winter. They did not know how to handle it and did not let me change the room. Gave me a portable heater, which was quite inconvenient. Room was not quiet and close to the restaurant had bad smell coming in sometimes. If it wasn’t for the heating issue would have been ok.
