As a customer with a booking, I approached the counter staff to try and check in at 1pm. As this was earlier than the stipulated 3pm check in timing, I had hoped to leave my luggages with the hotel until 3pm, for convenience of getting lunch before checking in. I was told that I would be charged £15 per bag (I had 2) or alternatively pay £40 for early check in. This was a policy I have never encountered before in my multiple trips to multiple countries. Most hotels would allow check in without charge under circumstances as I was only 2 hours early, much less try to extort an exorbitant £15 for each bag to be placed in their storage for 2 short hours. I ended up paying for early check in, as the difference in price for both options was £10 enabling me to freshen up in the room before leaving for my lunch appointment. Although the location of the hotel is excellent, I doubt I’ll return to this hotel again.

What an amazing hotel in the heart of theatre land. If you want spend time in your room then this is not the hotel for you. The rooms are clean, quiet and a place to lay your head. We personally found the bed too low but that’s an age thing. Would stay there again.

don't be fooled by the price. you can't check in until 3 pm even though there are rooms available for 40 pounds extra. to leave your bag until check in you must pay 15 pounds. to access the restaurant/ lounge you must pay 10 lbs. there is a nightclub next to the club which means there is thumping of you are on the 2nd floor

Overall a great place to stay as a solo traveller. It had everything I needed. My only complaint was that there was no door for the shower so water tended to splash out of the shower area and into the rest of the bathroom.
