Excellent location & comfy bed but the extreme minimalism of the rooms (no shelf, chair…..just 3 hooks) and the ‘underground’ aspect was not for us. Appreciated the free tea and coffee in Reception but missed a kettle in the room.

Great hotel for a short stay. Fabulous location right next to the tube station. Staff were helpful. Rooms were as advertised, so basic, but very clean. Beds were low, but comfy and i loved that it was blackout due to having no window. No complaints at all, other than we did miss having some type of unit/storage/shelf to put anything on so it was either on the floor or in the suitcase, but for a couple of days, it was fine. Overall, we would happily book again

Room was filthy with a smell of drain. Cobwebs, dust & peeling paintwork in bathroom. Extremely noisy room, could hear the underground and room above very clearly. One of the worst hotels we’ve stayed in for a while.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was super cool staying underground and the hotel staff were very nice/ helpful. They do charge for early check in, holding bags, and hairdryer. However, I knew that from reading the other reviews so it wasn’t a surprise. Overall it was a safe hotel in a AMAZING location right next to the tube. The rooms were small but super clean. Would stay here again

The hotel itself was pleasant and clean enough but the rooms were a different story. We had other guests hair ties and accessories left in the room, the bottom fitted sheet underneath the flat sheet was filthy so clearly wasn’t changed before our arrival and this was never changed during the 4 day stay. In the mornings staff just opened the rooms and chucked nee towels in, isn’t make the beds or provide any extra toilet rolls or top up shampoo/handwash etc. The reception staff looked at you funny and walked off mid conversation if you asked for assistance with anything. In the rooms, you can hear the tubes going past despite the description stating that the rooms are sound proofed and the plumbing is horrendously loud when other rooms are running water or flushing the toilet. All of this being said however, the hotel is in an excellent location and is in walkable distance to Trafalgar Square, Soho, Piccadilly Circus and a whole host of amazing spots to eat. The Tottenham Court Rd tube stop is only a 3 min walk from the hotel also which is really convenient.

The hotel is very basic but for the price is very good, the only downside was the horrid smell throughout the corridors that you can smell in the room, they have air fresheners in every plug, it not pleasant at all, our air conditioning panel was broken in our room so was very cold overnight. Location is fantastic, round the corner from Tottenham Court Road tube

What more do you need?
Was looking for a room so that i could enjoy a couple of days in London. This place fits the bill, it has a bed, a toilet and a shower. What more do you need. Its was clean, tidy and i had no complaints. Even the sound of the Underground tube didnt bother us too much and i would stay again. Wont be for everyone, but i thought value for money including a great location.

This was mistake to order this hotel. If you wan to try small jail experience, it is good for try. Shower water came to bedroom. Room door locked earlier before check out time 10 am. Amazing design underground hotel. Hope nothing bad happens here. Difficult to exit if fire or emergency happen. Never pick here again.

Zedwell Underground Hotel was a really nice property with lots of shopping and dining just steps away. I’ve never stayed in an underground hotel so it was a different experience. The rooms are small but cozy. This didn’t really affect me but just beware there are no televisions in the rooms. There is a charge to borrow the iron/ironing board and also to hold your luggage. It’s within walking distance to the underground and tube lines for easy transportation. The staff were really friendly and were readily available if i needed them. There’s a 24 hour restaurant right next door and lots of bars/clubs within walking distance in Soho! I’d stay here again.

It’s a very quirky hotel with it being underground but we loved it. At check in time there were lots of staff around to help and the mobile app rather than a physical key was a really good thing. Rooms are minimalistic, spotlessly clean and had everything we wanted. Amazing rainfall shower with nice toiletries provided, although perhaps think about baths mats as our bathroom did get quite puddly but we managed. We slept brilliantly here, comfy beds, very little noise and no issues with light. Thank you for a great stay Zedwell team.

We had a great get away with them. The room was nice. Price was great. Staff were friendly. They do nickle and dime you on little things like needing to use a hair drier or holding luggage before leaving but I suppose that is fair given the price of the stay overall. I will for sure book here again.
