The remodel is really nice! However, there were dirty dishes put away, lots of dust under the bed that was very visible. Overall we enjoyed our stay, good value will stay again.

We had plenty of room for 2 adults & 2 kids. The room was nicely painted with pretty colors. It was conveniently located to shopping/activities. Beds (nice sheets/lots of pillows/ good mattress) were comfortable.There are no closets to hang clothes. Heat pump disconnected/wall heater ok except in cold bedroom. Extra blanket was provided when asked. MOLD along top of bedroom wall. Microwave trim was broken; microwave worked fine. Showerhead was amazing.. MOLD around the top edge in 2 large places.Top of frig had sand on it and cabinets had crumbs from previous renter. When reporting to management, I asked if roof was leaking. She said "No, ALL houses (including her own), have MOLD due to the wet climate at the beach". (Not true, in our experiences at this motel or others in the area.) She neither offered another unit nor any other solutions.

Even though this is an older motel the room we stayed in was completely updated and very clean. The location is very convenient with everything Long Beach has to offer within walking distance.

Great place to stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Long Beach and our hotel room was perfect. We loved the kitchen: full size range and refrigerator, plates, utensils, etc provided. The room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and in order. We would stay here again without hesitation.

My room was clean and spacious. We received a basket of dog supplies at check in which was a sweet touch. It is my new favorite spot to stay in long beach. Located with in walking distance of all down town activities.

Barb got my family of 5 our dog checked in with a breeze. After having a mishap with another hotel we were left wondering if we would be making a long drive home after clamming, the Coastal Inn was able to graciously accommodate us at a good rate. The space was plenty big enough and a great surprise walking in. They even give you a cute little basket for the fur babies with supplies needed. Overall was a great experience, we will be looking here on for later trips.
