I am a fan of this property. I am a repeat guest, this is my 3rd year in a row. My issue and great dislike is the specific room reservation both directly with the property and with 3rd party bookings like expedia. Directly with the property does not offer payment in full at the time of booking and there is no way to determine the specific room being reserved. You must book by description not actual room. This is most undesirable for potential guests. Due to the variety of accommodations available, multiple actual photos of each specific room should be available at the time of booking. This aspect of the whole experience is awful and unacceptable. All other aspects of this property, rooms, staff, amenities all are stellar. This property is very clean. Super bed linens and washroom towels are superior.

Loved our stay at lime key! We enjoyed using the hammocks, bikes, kayaks, and sup available. We also brought our own snorkels and went in right off the shore to see fish and lobsters. The restaurant on site was tasty and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were smaller and a bit older than they look online but still sufficient. Pools & rooms were clean. Note the “beach” is kind of man made and the water is rocky like all of the keys. Also we did see a crocodile in the water but this is common in the area. Long Key itself didn’t have much to do but a quick drive to Ismoralda and we found lots of great places to check out. Definitely recommend feeding the tarpon at Robbie’s marina and my hubby loved F-ing bagels. Long key state park is small but worth the few dollar admission, we easily biked there. Looked like a great place to fish. We will be back next year, thanks for a great trip!

The pool was literally steps from our door, and The Florida Boy Bar/Grill, although independently owned/operated, was a short walk along the path, and served delicious meals, including breakfast. The staff at Lime Tree truly caters to its guests!

We spent one night after fishing on the Gulf of America. The restaurant did a ‘Catch and Cook’ on our Snapper, and it was excellent. Room was clean, had a nice view of the Gulf and the chairs by the water were quite inviting.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We had a designated parking spot with our room number. Excellent sunset. Rooms were clean. Beautiful property with amazing sunset views. Lots of areas to relax either in the sun or shade. Staff was vey attentive and friendly. Kayaks, paddleboards, bike were available for everyone to enjoy. The pool was very nice, with lots of seating and amazing views. No continental breakfast. There is a restaurant next door that offered, breakfast, lunch, dinner and entertainment. Food was good, but very slow service. The is a convenient store located across the street for any supplies you needed. Lime Tree Resort was exactly what we were looking for to relax for a couple of days and not have to worry about driving anywhere. We truly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back one day.
