What made my stay enjoyable was the Absolutely LOVELY Staff who work there. The hotel is badly in need of a complete refurbishment. It is tired and old fashioned. The breakfast was lovely. Another sausage would have been good.

Room far too hot you couldn't turn down the radiator as the control was broken. Radiator too hot to touch. So bad nights sleep. Hairdryer blew up when I went to use.

Room was adequate. Was expecting a little more for the money. Had bed and breakfast, I arrived at breakfast about half hour before the finishing time. As there were no tables had to sit in the lounge area. Order was taken, had to walk back and forth just to get milk for tea, then had to ask for butter. Only asked for scrambled egg and bacon and it took ages and didn’t want it by the time it came

Great hotel - good value for money!

Thoroughly enjoyed my 24 hours here, every staff member was super friendly and helpful.. I came very unprepared forgetting my toothbrush & phone charger but they had both covered with a smile.. was really impressed with the food (3 ladies all really enjoyed our meals), spa was nice with pool, steam, sauna and jacuzzi / hydro pool. It’s all a little dated overall but you can use it for the rest of the day even after you check out! Rooms came with irons (always a bonus), tea / coffee & biscuits, the bed was really comfy. I thought the stay was really good value for money… loved it!

Weekend stay

Staff were extremely well trained and friendly, we felt all the staff that we came across went out of their way to look after us. The facilities in the Health and Spa centre were impressive, we were given a nice tour. Parking was easy, plenty of spaces. A lovely hotel for a short stay in a great location would definitely recommend.
